Bu çalışmada buji ateşlemeli bir motorun egzoz gazı atık ısı enerjisinin faz dönüşüm malzemesi (FDM) kullanılarak depolandığı gizli ısı depolama siteminin ergime sürecine ait deneysel bir çalışma yürütülmüştür. Çalışmada, ticari olarak RT55 kodu ile bilinen parafin mumu kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada 1000 N kapasiteli bir lineer aktüatör motor kullanılmış ve FDM'nin hacim deneyleri gerçekleştirilmiştir. Ayrıca FDM eşanjörü optik malzemeden üretilerek deneysel çalışma süresince ergime süreci görüntülenmiştir. Egzoz atık ısı geri dönüşümü için, biri motorun egzoz yoluna (egzoz eşanjörü) diğeri içerisinde FDM'nin depolandığı (FDM eşanjörü) iki adet ısı eşanjörü tasarlanarak imal edilmiştir Egzoz atık ısısının FDM'ye aktarılabilmesi için egzoz eşanjörü ile FDM eşanjörü arasında kapalı döngü bir sıvı dolaşım sistemi kurulmuştur. Egzoz gazlarından FDM'ye ısı aktarımında aracı akışkan olarak saf su kullanılmıştır. Deneysel çalışmalar, LPG yakıtı ile çalıştırılan 2 silindirli, buji ateşlemeli, su soğutmalı bir motorun 1/2 gaz kelebeği açıklığı ve 2800 d/d sabit motor devrinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. 7200.sn (120 dk) süresince gerçekleştirilen deneysel çalışma sonucunda; gizli ısı depolama tankı içerisindeki toplam 9,136 kg'lık FDM kütlesinin serbest, sabit ve kontrollü hacim deneyleri için sırasıyla 7,778, 7827 ve 7,984 kg'ının faz dönüşümü gerçekleştirilerek %85,2, %85,7 ve %87,4 sıvı oranına ulaşılabildiği tespit edilmiştir. FDM kabında hissedilebilir ve gizli ısı olarak toplam 2339,9, 2355,95 ve 2446,76 kJ'lük enerjilerin depolanabildiği ve %37,2, %37,99 ve %39,46 FDM eşanjör verimlerine ulaşılabildiği tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak değişen hacim şartlarının FDM içindeki sıcaklık değerlerini, depolanan enerji miktarını, ısı akısını, sıvılaşma oranını ve verimini arttırdığı tespit edilmiştir. In this study, an experimental study of the melting process of the latent heat storage system, in which the exhaust gas waste heat energy of a spark ignition engine is stored using phase transformation material (FDM), was carried out. In the study, a linear actuator motor with a capacity of 1000 N was used and the volume tests of the FDM were carried out RT-55 used. In addition, the FDM heat exchanger was produced from optical material and the melting process was monitored during the experimental study. For exhaust waste heat recycling, two heat exchangers are designed and manufactured, one in the exhaust path of the engine (exhaust exchanger) and the other in which FDM is stored (FDM exchanger) A closed loop liquid is formed between the exhaust heat exchanger and the FDM heat exchanger so that the exhaust waste heat can be transferred to the FDM. Pure water was used as the working fluid in the heat transfer from the exhaust gases to the PCM. Experimental studies were carried out in a 2-cylinder, spark-ignition, water-cooled engine powered by LPG fuel with 1/2 throttle opening and 2800 rpm constant engine speed. As a result of the experimental study carried out during 7200.sec (120 min); It was determined that a total of 9,136 kg FDM mass in the latent heat storage tank could be achieved with a liquid ratio of 85.2%, 85.7% and 87.4% by performing phase transformation of 7,778, 7827 and 7,984 kg, respectively, for free, constant and controlled volume experiments. has been done. It has been determined that a total of 2339.9, 2355.95 and 2446.76 kJ energies can be stored as sensible and latent heat in the FDM container and FDM heat exchanger efficiencies of 37.2%, 37.99% and 39.46% can be reached. It has been determined that the conditions of the PCM increase the temperature values, the amount of stored energy, heat flux, liquefaction rate and efficiency.
