Ülkemizde ve dünyada, oldukça büyük bir miktarlarda maden atığı oluşumu söz konusudur. Maden atıkları evsel ve sanayi atıkları ile kıyaslandığında oldukça yüksek kirletici derişimine sahiptir ve uygun olmayan bir şekilde çevreye bırakıldıklarında çevre ve insan sağlığı için tehlike arz etmektedir. Maden atıklarında bulunan ağır metalleri geri kazanmak için kullanılabilecek birçok geri kazanım yöntemi mevcuttur. Bu çalışmada, Kurşun-Çinko- Bakır Flotasyon Zenginleştirme tesisinden temin edilen atık çamurda yüksek konsantrasyonda tespit edilen Zn ve Pb elementlerinin geri kazanımı hedeflenmiştir. Bu amaçla atık maden çamuru 2 M HNO3 ile liç edildikten sonra, kimyasal ve biyolojik yöntemlerle Pb ve Zn ağır metallerinin geri kazanımı araştırılmıştır. Atık maden çamurunun karakterizasyon sonuçlarına göre, maden atığı 4260 mg/kg çinko ve 3560 mg/kg kurşun içermektedir. Liç çalışmaları sonucunda 2 M HNO3 ile 40°C'de, 4 saat deney süresi sonunda Pb ve Zn ağır metallerinin etkili bir biçimde solüsyona alınabildiği tespit edilmiştir. Belirtilen liç şartlarında yaklaşık olarak %73 Pb ve %37 Zn solüsyona alınabilmiştir. Biyolojik geri kazanım deneylerinde 24 faktöriyel dizayna göre oluşturulan 4 farklı değişkenin 3 farklı seviyede etkisi araştırılmıştır. 4 farklı değişken olarak MS konsantrasyonu, pH, deney süresi ve deney sıcaklığı seçilmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlar, elementlerin geri kazanımı üzerine en etkili faktörün pH olduğunu göstermektedir. Yüksek pH değerlerinde tüm elementlerin %79-100 oranında geri kazanılması mümkün olmuştur. 5 g/L MS konsantrasyonunda, pH 3'de, 60 dakika deney süresi ve 60°C'de yürütülen deneyde yaklaşık %2 Pb ve %7 Zn geri kazanımı elde edilmiştir. Kimyasal geri kazanım çalışmalarında, 8 M NaOH ile farklı pH değerlerinin giderime olan etkisi incelenmiş ve presipitasyon sonrasında %95 Pb ve %94 Zn geri kazanımı elde edilmiştir.
There have been a large amount of mine waste generation in our country and all around the world. Compared to domestic and industrial wastes, mine wastes have a very high concentration of pollutants and pose a danger to the environment and human health when they are released into the environment in an inappropriate way. There are many recovery methods that can be used to recover the heavy metals caused by mining waste. Within the scope of this study, a waste sludge obtained from a Lead-Zinc-Copper Flotation Enrichment Facility in Gümüşhane province. Mining waste contains high concentrations of Zn and Pb elements, therefore it is aimed to recover these elements with an environmentally friendly method. For this purpose, the recovery of Pb and Zn heavy metals was investigated by chemical and biological methods after leaching with 2 M HNO3. Characterization results showed that mine waste contains 4260 mg/kg Zn and 3560 mg/kg Pb. As a result of the leaching studies, it has been determined that Pb and Zn heavy metals can be taken into solution effectively with 2 M HNO3 at 40°C, at the end of the 4 hours test period. Under the specified leaching conditions, approximately 73% Pb and 37% Zn could be leached into solution. For biological recovery experiments, the effects at 3 different levels of 4 different variables, which were created according to 24 factorial designs were investigated. MC concentration, pH, reaction time and temperature were selected as variables. The results showed that the most effective factor on the recovery of elements was pH. It was possible to recover 79-100% of all elements at high pH values. Approximately 2% Pb and 7% Zn recovery was obtained in the experiment conducted at 5 g/L MC concentration, at pH 3 within 60 minutes test time at 60°C. For chemical recovery studies, the effect of different pH values on removal with 8M NaOH was investigated and recovery of 95% Pb and 94% Zn was obtained after precipitation.
