Bu tez çalışmasında, eğitim uçaklarını bakım ve onarım işlemleri sırasında kaldırmak amacıyla kullanılan bir hidrolik kriko mekanizmasının mekanik davranışları deneysel ve nümerik gerilme analiz yöntemleriyle incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın amacı, yapıya özgü bir sonlu elemanlar modeli oluşturulması ve bu sonlu elemanlar modelinin gerilme analiz yöntemleriyle doğrulanmasıdır. Elde edilen sonlu elemanlar modeli ilerleyen tasarım modeli optimizasyonu çalışmalarında kullanılacaktır. Mekanizmaya özgü bir katı model SolidWorks yazılımı ile oluşturulmuştur. Yapı uygulama şartlarında yüklenerek sonlu elemanlar analizi Ansys yazılımı ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Elde edilen öncül analiz verileriyle sistem fiziksel olarak yüklenmiş ve yapının şekil değiştirme davranışı yüzey gerinim ölçümü ile test edilmiştir. Gerinim ölçümünde sistem hidrolik bir kriko sistemi içerisine yerleştirilerek yük uygulanmıştır. Yapıya gelen yük baskı tipi yük hücresi kullanılarak ölçülmüştür. Yük hücresi ölçümleri Arduino Mega kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Yük hücreleri, yükleme öncesi kalibre edilmiştir. Yüzey gerinimi 4 noktadan lineer tip gerinim ölçer sensörler kullanılarak ölçülmüştür. Yüzey gerinme ölçümünde sonlu elemanlar analizinde gözlemlenen şekil değişimini doğrular nitelikte veriler elde edilmiştir. Fiziksel yapıya özgü iki boyutlu küçültülmüş modeller üretilerek fotoelastik analiz gerçekleştirilmiştir. Fotoelastik analizde, dairesel polariskop ünitesi kullanılmıştır. Fotoelastik analizde, yapının yük taşıma bölgesi olan yük tablası ve gövde tablası modelleri incelenmiştir. Modeller polimetilmetakrilat malzemeden üretilmiştir. Analiz sonucunda gerilme dağılımını doğrular nitelikte veriler elde edilmiştir. Gerilmelerin, yük tablasının gövde tablası ile birleşme bölgesinde eğilme etkisine bağlı olarak yoğunlaştığı saçak geçişlerinde gözlemlenmiştir. Taşıyıcı gövdede eğilme etkisine bağlı olarak gerilmelerin üst yüzeyde oluşmaya başladığı ve bu bölgeden dağıldığı gözlemlenmiştir. Sonlu elemanlar analizi sonucunda taşıyıcı yük fikstür bölgesinden iletilen gerilmelerin silindir ünitesi ve ayarlanabilir kol yardımıyla desteklendiği, ayarlanabilir kol mekanizmasının yükü eksenel bağlı bulunduğu mesnet grupları ile temel gövdeye aktardığı görülmüştür. Yük fikstürünün sehimi, şekil değiştirmesi ve eksenel yük iletme mekanizması göz önünde bulundurulduğunda sehim ve şekil değişimi sonuçları yapı için tutarlıdır. Sonuç olarak, iki farklı deneysel yönteminden elde edilen veriler ile sonlu elemanlar modelinden elde edilen gerilme analizi verilerinin uyuştuğu görülmüş ve sonlu elemanlar modeli doğrulanmıştır.
In this thesis, mechanical behavior of a hydraulic jack mechanism used to lift training airplanes during maintenance and repair operations has been investigated by experimental and numerical stress analysis methods. The aim of the study is to create a structure-specific finite element model and to verify this finite element model by stress analysis methods. The resulting finite element model will be used in further progressive design model optimization studies. A mechanism-specific solid model has been created with SolidWorks software. Finite element analysis has been performed with Ansys software by loading the structure under application conditions. With the preliminary analysis data obtained, the system has been physically loaded and the deformation behavior of the structure has been tested by surface strain measurement. In strain measurement, the system has been placed in a hydraulic jack system and a load has been applied. The load on the structure has been measured using a compression type load cell. Load cell measurements have been performed using Arduino Mega. Load cells have been calibrated prior to loading. Surface strain has been measured using 4-point linear type strain gauge sensors. The data obtained from surface strain measurement have been confirmed the finite element analysis results. Photoelastic analysis has been carried out by producing two-dimensional reduced model specific to the physical structure. A circular polariscope unit has been used in the photoelastic analysis. In the photoelastic analysis, the load table and body plate models, which are the load carrier region of the structure, have been examined. Models are made of polymethyl methacrylate material. As a result of the analysis, data confirming the stress distribution have been obtained. It has been observed in the fringe distribution that the stresses intensify due to the bending effect in the junction area of the load table with the body plate. It has been observed that the stresses begin to form on the upper surface and dissipate from this region due to the bending effect on the carrier body. As a result of the finite element analysis, it has been seen that the stresses transmitted from the carrier load fixture region are supported by the cylinder unit and the adjustable arm, and the adjustable arm mechanism transfers the load to the base body with the support groups to which it is axially connected. Considering the displacement and strain of the load fixture and the axial load transmission mechanism, the displacement and strain results are consistent for the structure. As a result, it was seen that the data obtained from the two different experimental test methods and the stress analysis data obtained from the finite element model matched and the finite element model has been confirmed.
