1973 petrol krizi nedeniyle varil fiyatının 2,59 dolardan 11,65 dolara yükseldiğini görülmüştür. Bu krizden sonra dünya ülkeleri başka küresel enerji krizini yaşanmamak için alternatif çözümleri bulmaya odaklanmışlardır. Araştırmacılar yaptıkları araştırmalar sonucunda emisyonsuz, her yerde var olan ve fosil enerji kaynaklardan daha kolay kullanışlı olan yenilenebilir enerji kaynakları ortaya çıkarmışlardır. Güneş enerjisi, kullanım kolaylığı, her yerde bulunabilmesi ve aynı zamanda en ucuz enerji olması nedeniyle yenilenebilir enerji kaynaklarından ön plana çıkmaktadır. Güneş enerjisinden elektrik üretimi çok farklı teknolojiler ve metotlar vardır. Elektrik enerjisi elde etmek için en verimli ve yaygın teknoloji, güneş ışınlarını tek bir yerde yoğunlaştırıp yüksek sıcaklıklar elde ederek bir buhar türbinini çalıştırmaktır. Bu yöntem başında da parabolik oluk tipi güneş kollektörleri gelmektedir. Bu yöntemde direkt güneş ışınları bir yansıtıcı yüzey sayesinde parabolik kollektörünün odak noktasında boydan boya yerleştirilen alıcı boruya yansıtarak yoğunlaştırma yapman bir sistemdir. Bu çalışmada Komor Adaları'nda elektrik enerjisi üretim için kurulu gücü, 1 MWe olan parabolik oluk güneş yoğunlaştırıcı sistemi kullanılmıştır. Elektrik enerjisi üretmek için kullanılan kollektör teorik olarak tasarlanmıştır. Tasarlanan kollektör için su ve Therminol VP-1 ısı transfer akışkanı olarak kullanıp vakumlu ve vakumsuz tüplerde ısı kayıpları, optik kayıpları, faydalı enerji ve termal verimi hesaplanmıştır. Elde edilen değerlere göre alıcı sistem için vakumlu tüp ve ısı transfer akışkanı olarak ta su seçilmiştir. 1 MW'lik tesis için elektrik enerjisi üretiminde ORC türbin ve buhar türbin güç üretim sistemleri ayrı ayrı kullanılmıştır. Maliyet açısından Komor Adaları'nda buhar türbin ile elektrik üretiminin daha uygun olduğu görülmüştür. Ayrıca sistemin geri ödeme süresi 5,11 yıl olarak öngörülmüştür. It was observed that the price of a barrel rose from $2.59 to $11.65 due to the 1973 oil crisis. After this crisis, the countries of the world focused on finding alternative solutions to avoid another global energy crisis. As a result of their research, researchers have revealed renewable energy sources that are emission-free, ubiquitous, and easier to use than fossil energy sources. Solar energy stands out from renewable energy sources due to its ease of use, ubiquity and being the cheapest energy at the same time. There are many different technologies and methods for generating electricity from solar energy. The most efficient and common technology for generating electrical energy is to run a steam turbine by concentrating the sun's rays in one place and generating high temperatures. Parabolic trough type solar collectors are at the forefront of this method. In this method, it is a system that concentrates the direct sunlight by reflecting it to the receiver pipe placed at the focal point of the parabolic collector through a reflective surface. In this study, a parabolic trough solar concentrator system with an installed power of 1 MW was used for electricity generation in Comoros. The collector used to generate electrical energy is theoretically designed. For the designed collector, heat losses, optical losses, useful energy and thermal efficiency were calculated in vacuum and non-vacuum tubes by using water and Therminol VP-1 as heat transfer fluid. According to the obtained values, a vacuum tube was chosen for the receiving system and water was chosen as the heat transfer fluid. ORC turbine and steam turbine power generation systems are used separately in the generation of electrical energy for the 1 MW facility. In terms of cost, it has been seen that electricity generation with steam turbines is more convenient in Comoros. In addition, the payback period of the system is foreseen as 5,11 years.
