Bu çalışmada, 7. sınıf öğrencilerinin Fen bilgisi dersinde etkinlikler ile öğrencilerin kazandıkları değer yargılarını ortaya çıkarmak ve değer eğitimi üzerinden incelemektir. Araştırma 2021-2022 eğitim-öğretim yılının ikinci döneminde, Isparta il merkezinde yer alan Aliköy-Küçük Hacılar Ortaokulu'nda öğrenme görmekte olan 7. sınıf öğrencileri üzerinden yapılmıştır. Çalışma grubu 13 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. 5 hafta süren çalışmada etkinlik temelli değer öğretimi uygulanmıştır.Araştırmada; çalışma grubunun kazandığı değerleri belirlemek amacıyla, nitel araştırma tekniklerine uygun olarak geliştirilen öğrencilerin benimsedikleri değerleri tespit etmek amacıyla yarı yapılandırılmış 5 açık uçlu sorudan oluşan öğrenci görüşme formu ve öğrencilerin kazandıkları değerleri tespit etmek amacıyla 20 ifadenin yer aldığı gözlem formu kullanılmıştır.Toplanan nitel verilerin analizinde ise betimsel ve içerik analizi yaklaşımı kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen sonuçlara göre, adalet, duyarlılık, vatanseverlik, dürüstlük, özgüven, sevgi, saygı, hoşgörü, sorumluluk, empati, işbirliği ve sabır gibi temel değerleri benimsedikleri belirlenmiştir. Saygı, sorumluluk ve işbirliği değerlerinin daha çok algılandığı belirlenmiştir. Sınıf dışı yapılan etkinliklerin değer öğretiminde faydalı olduğu öğrencilerin mutlu ve istekli oldukları anlaşılmıştır. Etkinlikler değer öğretiminin olumlu tarafını göz önüne sermektedir. In this study, it is to reveal the value judgments of 7th grade students with the activities in Science class and to examine them through value education. The research was conducted on 7th grade students studying at Aliköy-Küçük Hacılar Secondary School in the city center of Isparta in the second semester of the 2021-2022 academic year. The study group consists of 13 students. In the 5-week study, activity-based value teaching was applied. In the research; In order to determine the values gained by the study group, a student interview form consisting of 5 semi-structured open-ended questions was used to determine the values adopted by the students developed in accordance with qualitative research techniques and an observation form with 20 statements was used to determine the values gained by the students. In the analysis of the collected qualitative data, descriptive and content analysis approach was used. According to the results obtained in the research, it was determined that they adopted basic values such as justice, sensitivity, patriotism, honesty, self-confidence, love, respect, tolerance, responsibility, empathy, cooperation and patience. It was determined that the values of respect, responsibility and cooperation were perceived more. It was understood that the students were happy and willing that the activities carried out outside the classroom were useful in teaching value. The activities reveal the positive side of value teaching. Keywords: Science, value, activity, value education
