İslam'ı tebliğ için gönderilen hemen hemen bütün peygamberler kendilerine muhalefet eden bir kesimle karşı karşıya kalmışlardır. Kendilerine muhalefet eden bu kesimler, genellikle kavimlerinin önde gelenleri ve zenginler idi. Kuşkusuz bu muhalefet geleneği Hz. Muhammed (s.a.v.) dönemimde de devam etmiştir. Hz. Muhammed'in İslam'ı tebliğ etmesiyle birlikte Mekke döneminde özellikle Kureyş kabilesinin önde gelenlerinin muhalefetiyle başlayan bu süreç, Medine döneminde ise orada yaşayan Yahudilerin gizli ve sinsi muhalefetiyle devam etmiştir. Bu sürece nübüvvetin sonlarına doğru ise Hristiyanların savaşları da eklenmiştir. Kur'ân-ı Kerim'i doğru anlamak hiç şüphesiz ayetlerin indiği ortamı ve ayetlere yapılan muhalefet ile itirazları doğru anlamaktan geçer. Bu tez çalışmamızda Ra'd ve İbrahim surelerinin bazı ayetlerinden hareketle sebeb- i nüzul ve tefsirlerden faydalanarak bu muhalefet ve sebepleri ortaya konmaya çalışılmıştır. Towards the end of the prophethood, the wars of the Christians were added to this process. Understanding the Qur'an correctly depends on understanding the environment in which the verses were revealed, and the opposition and objections to the verses. Here, based on some verses of the periods of Ra'd and Ibrahim, the reason for this opposition and its reasons has been tried to be revealed by making use of the revelations and tafsir.
