Türkiye'de zaman içerisinde üniversite sayısı artışı ile birlikte İktisat bölümünde de yıllara göre üniversitelerin lisansüstü öğrenci mezun sayısında da artış gözlenmiştir. Böylelikle bu bölümün ülkemizde bir bilim dalı olarak tanınması ve gelişmesi sağlanmıştır. Dünyada ve ülkemizde iktisat anabilim dalları çeşitlilik kazanmış böylelikle literatürün gelişimini incelemek yaygınlaşmıştır. İlk kez 19. yüzyılda ortaya çıkan bibliyometrik analiz yöntemi, bir bilim alanın durumunu ve gelişimini değerlendirmek için kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın amacı, Türkiye'de iktisat alanında hazırlanmış doktora tezlerin bibliyometrik profilini belirlemeye yöneliktir. Tez kapsamında, son erişim tarihi 30 Eylül 2020 olan ve YÖK Ulusal Tez Merkezi üzerinde, İktisadi Gelişme ve Uluslararası İktisat Anabilim Dalı, İktisat (İngilizce) Anabilim Dalı, İktisat Teorisi Anabilim Dalı, İktisadi ve İdari Anabilim Dalı, İktisat Politikası Anabilim Dalı, İktisat Anabilim Dalı ve İktisat Tarihi Anabilim Dalı içerisinde hazırlanmış olan 1955 adet doktora tezi oluşturmaktadır. Bibliyometrik analiz yardımıyla 1984 – 2020 yılları arasında iktisat alanında yazılan doktora tezleri çeşitli parametreler doğrultusunda incelenmiştir. Parametreler betimsel analiz yöntemi kapsamında toplanan veriler SPSS 22.0 programı ve Microsoft Office 365 Excell programları kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgularda iktisat alanında hazırlanmış doktora tezlerine en çok katkı yapan anabilim dalı, üniversite, yazar cinsiyeti, danışman öğretim üyesi dağılımı, kaynak sayısı, sayfa sayısı, anahtar kelime, öğretim üyesi unvanı, danışman öğretim üyesi belirlenmiştir. Along with the increase in the number of universities in Turkey over time, an increase has been observed in the number of postgraduate students graduate in the Department of Economics. Thus, this department has been recognized and developed as a science branch in our country. Economics departments have gained diversity in the world and in our country, so it has become widespread to examine the development of the literature. The bibliometric analysis method, which first appeared in the 19th century, was used to evaluate the status and development of a field of science. The aim of the research is to determine the bibliometric profile of doctoral theses prepared in the field of economics in Turkey. Within the scope of the thesis, the last access date is September 30, 2020, over YÖK national thesis center, Department of Economic Development and International Economics, Department of Economics (English), Department of Economic Theory, Department of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Economic Policy, Department of Economics and Department of Economic History, It consists of 1955 doctoral dissertations prepared . With the help of bibliometric analysis, doctoral theses written in the field of economics between 1984 and 2020 were examined in accordance with various parameters. The data collected within the scope of the parameters descriptive analysis method were analyzed using SPSS 22.0 program and Microsoft Office 365 Excell programs. According to the findings, the ones who contributed the most to the doctoral theses prepared in the field of department, university, gender of the author, distribution of the advisor, number of sources, number of pages, keywords, title of the lecturer, and advisor lecturer has determined.
