Ülkeler, geleceğe yönelik kararlar alırken reel döviz kuru ve ihracat ilişkisi hakkında tahminlemelerde bulunurlar. Bu konu literatürde önemli bir araştırma konusu haline gelmiştir. Bu çalışmada Türkiye' de çelik üretim tesislerinin bulunduğu 14 il ve sanayi şehri olan İstanbul 'un 2011:01-2020:12 dönemine ait çelik ihracatı, döviz kuru ve enflasyon verileri kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın amacı belirtilen döneme ait verilere dayanarak değişkenler arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda Garch yöntemi, Granger nedensellik testi, Johansen eş bütünleşme ve hata düzeltme modeli uygulanmıştır. Granger nedensellik testi sonucuna göre döviz kuru, çelik ihracatı ve enflasyon arasında çift yönlü nedensellik ilişkisi tespit edilmiştir. Johansen eş bütünleşme analizi sonucunda değişkenlerin eş bütünleşik olduğu ve uzun dönemde dengeye geldikleri sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Değişkenlerin farklarının alınmasından kaynaklanan değer kayıplarını düzeltmek için hata düzeltme modeli uygulanmıştır. Hata terimleri eklenerek yapılan analizle kısa dönemdeki dengesizliklerin bir sonraki dönem büyük kısmının düzelme göstererek kapandığı ortaya koyulmuştur. By making predictions about the real exchange rate and export relationship, the country's ability to make future decisions has become an important research topic in the literature. In this study, data on steel exports, exchange rate and inflation for the period 2011:01-2020:12 of Istanbul, 14 provinces and industrial cities where steel production facilities are located in Turkey, were used. The aim of the study is to examine the relationship between variables based on the data for the specified period. For this purpose, Garch method, Granger causality test, Johansen cointegration and error correction model were applied. According to the results of the Granger causality test, a bidirectional causal relationship between the exchange rate, steel exports and inflation was determined. As a result of Johansen cointegration analysis, it was concluded that the variables are cointegration and come to equilibrium in the long term. An error correction model has been applied to correct value losses caused by taking differences of variables. Analysis by adding error terms showed that most of the short-term imbalances in the next period closed, showing improvement.
