Araştırmanın amacı, tüketicilerin elektrikli otomobil kullanımına yönelik tutumlarını ekonometrik olarak tahmin ederek, elektrikli otomobil piyasasına dair politika önerilerinde bulunmaktır. Çalışma 3 ana bölümden meydana gelmektedir. Giriş bölümünden sonra genel bilgiler başlığı altında otomotiv sektörünün tarihi, Dünya'da ve Türkiye'de otomotiv sektörünün durumu, Türkiye'de otomotiv sektörünün tarihi, bu sektörün sorunları, Türkiye'nin ilk yerli otomobil girişimi olan Devrim otomobiliile ilgili bilgilendirmeler yapılarakdaha sonraki bölümdeyerli ve yabancı literatürden derlenenbilgilerle bu çalışmaya destek olacak benzer verilerden bahsedilmiştir. Ampirik uygulama bölümünde güdümlü örneklem seçim tekniğinden faydalanılıp hazırlanan anket formu online olarak gerçekleştirilmiş,eksik veri içeren anketler dışlandıktan sonra ekonometrik modelde toplam 222 anket dikkate alınmıştır. Çalışmada bağımlı değişken olarak hane halkının ilerde elektrikli otomobil kullanma eğilimleri anket ile elde edilen çeşitli sosyo-ekonomik faktörler kullanılarak Logistik Regresyon (Logit) modeli ile analiz edilmiştir. Bunlarla birlikte model Nlogit 4.0 paket programı kullanılarak tahminler tablolaştırılmıştır.Modelde bağımsız değişken olarak cinsiyet, yaş, medeni durum, eğitim düzeyi, hane halkı geliri, otomobil değeri, toplam yapılan km, elektrikli otomobiller gibi bilgi değişkenleri kullanılmıştır. Öte yandan bağımsız değişkenlerin istatistik olarak anlamlılığına bakıldığında gelir, haftalık yapılan km, elektrikli otomobil hakkında bilgi sahipliği, elektrikli otomobillerin prestijli olduğu ve ilk yerli elektrikli otomobil olacak TOGG'un talebi olumlu etkileyeceği değişkenlerinin istatistiksel olarak anlamlı ve elektrikli otomobil satın alma isteği üzerinde pozitif etkiye sahip olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bununla birlikte cinsiyet, yaş, medeni durum, eğitim düzeyi ve kullanılan otomobilin değerinin elektrikli otomobil satın alma isteği üzerinde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı etkilerinin olmadığı, ancak gelirin elektrikli otomobil alma isteğini pozitif yönde etkilediği gözlenmiştir. Türkiye'de elektrikli otomobil satışlarının arttırılması için kullanılabilecek politikalar arasında hanehalkı gelirini arttırma, yapılan km'nin desteklenebilmesi için araç menzilinin artırılması, elektrikli araçlar hakkında bilgi düzeyinin arttırılması, elektrikli araçların reklamlarına teşvik verilerek prestijinin desteklenmesi aracılığıyla tüketici yöneliminin arttırılması ve TOGG'un seri üretiminin gerçekleştirilerek halkın ulaşabileceği model ve fiyatların sunulması şeklinde politika önerilerinde bulunulmuştur. Sonuçta maddi ve maddi-olmayan teşviklerin uygulanması Türkiye'de elektrikli otomobil tercihlerinin belirlenmesi açısından oldukça önemlidir. TOGG'un ve kullanım amaçları, özellikleri, fiyatları farklı modellerin üretiminin hızlandırılması, kamu spotları ve reklamların teşvikiyle elektrikli araçlar hakkındaki bilgi düzeyinin ve tüketici gözünde yaratılan prestijin arttırılması anlamlı olacaktır. The aim of the study is to predict consumers' attitudes towards electric car use econometrically and to make policy recommendations on the electric car market. The study consists of 5 main chapters. After the introduction section, the history of the automotive sector, the situation of the automotive sector in the world and Turkey, the history of the automotive sector in Turkey, the problems of this sector, Turkey's first domestic automobile initiative, Devrim car, were informed and similar data were mentioned in the next section with information compiled from domestic and foreign literature to support this study. In the empirical application section, the survey form prepared by using the guided sample selection technique was carried out online, and after excluding surveys containing incomplete data, a total of 222 surveys were taken into account in the econometric model. In the study, the trends of households using electric cars in the future as a dependent variable were analysed using the logistic regression (Logit) model using various socio-economic factors obtained by the survey. Along with these, estimates are tabulated using the model NLogit 4.0 package program. Information variables such as gender, age, marital status, education level, household income, car value, total km made, electric cars were used as independent variables in the model. On the other hand, looking at the statistical significance of independent variables, income, weekly km, ownership of information about electric cars, electric cars are prestigious and TOGG, which will be the first domestic electric car, will have a positive impact on demand, statistically significant and have a positive impact on the desire to buy electric cars. However, gender, age, marital status, education level and the value of the car used do not have statistically significant effects on the desire to buy an electric car, but income positively affects the desire to buy an electric car. Policies that can be used to increase electric car sales in Turkey include increasing household income, increasing vehicle range to support km, increasing the level of information about electric vehicles, increasing consumer orientation through promoting prestige by encouraging advertising of electric vehicles, and introducing models and prices accessible to the public by carrying out mass production of TOGG. After all, the implementation of material and non-material incentives is very important in terms of determining the preferences of electric cars in Turkey. It will be meaningful to accelerate the production of TOGG and its usage purposes, features, prices of different models, and to increase the level of knowledge about electric vehicles and the prestige created in the eyes of the consumer with the encouragement of public spots and advertisements.
