İslam düşünce tarihinde III/IX. asır fırkalar arası rekabetin zirveye ulaştığı bir zaman dilimidir. Bu dönemde mihne olayları sonrası siyasi erki arkasına alan Ehl-i hadis diğer fırkalara tasnif ettiği hadis eserleriyle üstünlük kurmuştur. Telif edilen hadis kitapları açısından altın çağ olarak değerlendirilen bu asırda, Ehl-i hadisin etkinliğinin ve faaliyetlerinin merkezinde yer alan hadis çalışmalarının, nasıl bir seyir takip ettiği, hangi ortam ve şartlarda yazıldığı son derece önemlidir. Zira Kur'ân'dan sonra İslam'ın ikinci kaynağı konumunda olan hadislerin Ehl-i hadis perspektifince tasnif edildiği gözlerden uzak tutulmaması gereken bir husustur. Bu açıdan genellikle Kütüb-i Sitte içerisinde mütalaa edilen İbn Mâce'nin Sünen'i, Ehl-i hadisin mezhep anlayışını yansıtan önemli eserlerdendir. İbn Mâce, III/IX. asırda yaşamış ve Ehl-i hadisin mezhep anlayışını benimsemiş muhaddis kimliğiyle şöhret bulmuş bir şahsiyettir. O, yazdığı Sünen isimli hadis eserini Ehl-i re'ye tepki olarak fıkhın konularına göre tasnif etmenin yanında, eserinin başında yer verdiği mukaddimesi ile diğer tüm muhalif gruplara da itikadi konularda hadislerle cevap vermeye çalışmıştır. Araştırmamız onun eserinin mukaddimesinden yola çıkarak III/IX. asrın siyasi, dini, sosyal, kültürel ve ekonomik olaylarının hadis tasnifine etkisini ve Ehl-i hadisin bu asırda müfritleşen seyrini ele almaya çalışmaktadır. Ibn Mâjah's View of Sect The III/IX. century in the history of Islamic thouht is a time when competition among the factions reached its peak. During this period, Ahl-i hadîth which took political power behind it after the mihna events, gained the superiority with the hadith works it claddified to other factions. In this century, which is considered as the golden age in terms of copyrighted hadith books, it is extremely important how the hadith studies, which are at the center of the activity and activities of the Ahl-i hadîth, followed and in which environment and conditions they were written. Because the hadiths, which are the second source of Islam after the Qur'an, are classified by the perspective of Ahl-i hadîth, which should not be overlooked. In this respect, Ibn Majah's Sunan, which is generally considered in al-Kutub al-Sitta, is one of the important works that reflect the sect understanding of Ahl-i hadith. Ibn Majah, III/IX. in the century who lived and adopted the religious understanding of the Ahl-i hadîth and found fame with his muhaddis identity. In addition to classifying the hadith work Sunen, which he wrote, according to the subjects of fiqh as a reaction to the Ahl-i ra'y, he tried to answer all other opposition groups with hadiths on theological issues with the introduction he gave at the beginning of his work. Our research considering his work's Muqaddima focuses on the political, religious, social, cultural and economic impacts on hadith writing of III/IX. century and tries to address the course of the Ahl-i hadîth that had been impending during this century.
