Borsada, hisse senedi alım satım zamanlarına karar verirken hisse fiyatına bağlı olarak yapılan teknik analizlerin yanında hisse senedinin gelecekteki fiyatının öngörülmesi de yatırımcıya minimum risk ve maksimum kazanç sağlamaktadır. Hisse senedi fiyatlarındaki anlık değişimlerin bile yatırımcı için önemli olduğu bu durumda uzun dönemli öngörülerin elde edilmesi, planlama ve risk analizi açısından kritik öneme sahiptir. Tahmin ve öngörü yapmak amacıyla, literatürde birçok geleneksel zaman serisi analiz yöntemi kullanılmaktadır. Bununla birlikte geleneksel yöntemlere alternatif olarak kullanılan yapay sinir ağları ve derin öğrenme yöntemleri, varsayım gerektirmemesi ve iyi öngörü sonuçları elde edilmesi sebebiyle son yıllarda sıklıkla tercih edilmektedir. Derin öğrenme yöntemlerinden Uzun-Kısa Süreli Bellek Modeli'nde hafıza özelliğinin olması çok adımlı öngörüler için büyük avantaj sağlamaktadır. Bu tezde dört büyük spor kulübünün futbol maçlarından elde ettikleri puanların, bu kulüplerin hisse senedi fiyatlarına etkisini ortaya koyarak puan tahmini ve hisse senedi fiyatı öngörüsü yapmak amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla ilk aşamada hisse senedi açılış ve kapanış fiyatları ile futbol kulüplerine ait puanlar arasındaki nedensellik ilişkisi incelenmiştir. Ardından sezonlara bağlı olarak, Tekrarlayan Sinir Ağları'nın özel bir türü olan Uzun-Kısa Süreli Bellek Modeli kullanılarak puan tahmini ve hisse senedi kapanış fiyatı öngörüsü yapılmıştır. Uygulamada 2006/07-2020/21 sezon aralığında dört büyük spor kulübünün futbol maçlarından elde ettikleri haftalık puanlar ve borsada işlem gören şirketlerinin günlük hisse senedi fiyatlarına ait veriler kullanılmıştır. Analiz sonuçları, Uzun-Kısa Süreli Bellek Modeli'nin düşük hata ve yüksek performansa sahip çıktılar ürettiğini göstermektedir. Elde edilen sonuçlar doğrultusunda farklı model yapıları ve yöntem karşılaştırmaları ile öngörü doğruluğu için çalışmalar yapılması literatüre katkı sağlayacaktır. In addition to the technical analysis based on the share price while deciding on the stock trading times in the stock market, the prediction of the future price of the stock provides the investor with minimum risk and maximum profit. Obtaining long-term forecasts is critical in terms of planning and risk analysis, when even instantaneous changes in stock prices are important. In order to forecasting and predict, many traditional time series analysis methods are used in the literature. In recent years, artificial neural networks and deep learning methods, which are used as an alternative to traditional methods, have been frequently preferred because they do not require assumptions and provide accurate forecast results. The Long-Short Term Memory Model, which is one of the deep learning methods, has a memory feature. This feature also provides a great advantage for multi-step predictions. The aim of this thesis is to make score prediction and stock price forecasting by revealing the effect of the scores obtained from the football matches of the four big sports clubs on the stock prices of these clubs.In the first stage, the causality relationship between the opening and closing prices of stocks and the scores of football clubs was examined. Then, using the Long-Short-Term Memory Model which is a special type of Recurrent Neural Networks, score prediction, and stock closing price forecasting were made based on seasons. Weekly ratings from football matches by four major sports clubs in the 2006/07-2020/21 season range, as well as data on the daily stock prices of their listed companies are used in the application. Long-Short Term Memory Model produces outputs with low error and high performance, according to the analysis results. In line with the obtained results, making studies with different model structures and method comparisons for prediction accuracy will contribute to the literature.
