Bu çalışmada, yerel bir sanatçı olan Esat Eğer bağlamında, zanaat-sanat ilişkisi ve sanat psikolojisi incelenmiştir. Tez beş bölümden oluşmaktadır. Tezin ilk bölümünde, "zanaat eğitim yöntemleri", "tarihsel süreçte Avrupa ve Anadolu'da meslek örgütlerinin yapısı", "bilimsel gelişmelerin üretim politikalarının zanaat üzerine olan etkisi" incelenmektedir. İkinci bölümde, sanat sanatçı kavramlarının ne oldukları, sanat ile zanaat arasındaki farklar, sanatçıyı zanaatçıdan ayıran özellikler, ele alınmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde, fotoğraf zanaati ve sanatı araştırılmıştır. Dördüncü bölümde, sanat psikolojisi irdelenmiştir. Beşinci bölümde, Esat Eğer'in sanat anlayışı değerlendirilmiş ve yaşamı sanat psikolojisi bağlamında verilmiştir. Bu tez, literatür taraması ve röportaj teknikleri kullanılarak, Eğer'in neden sanatı yaşam biçimi olarak seçtiği ve onu zanaattan sanata yönelten sebeplerin araştırıldığı nitel bir çalışmadır. In this dissertation, the craft-art relationship, and psychology of art were reviewed in the context of Esat Eğer, a local artist. The dissertation consists of five chapters. In the first chapter, "craft education methods", "the structure of professional organizations in Europe and Anatolia in the historical process", "the effect of scientific developments and production policies on craft" are examined. In the second chapter, art-artist concepts, the differences between art and craft, characteristics that distinguish the artist from the craftsman are handled. In the third chapter, the craft and art of photography are researched. In the fourth chapter, the psychology of art is examined. In the fifth chapter, Esat Eğer's understanding of art is evaluated and his life is given in the context of art psychology.. This thesis is a qualitative study using literature review and interview techniques to investigate why Esat Eğer chose art as a way of life and the reasons that led him from craft to art.
