Rozase yüzün konveks alanlarını etkileyen flushing, kalıcı eritem ve telenjiektaziye papül, püstül gibi inflamasyon belirtilerinin eklenebildiği kronik bir hastalıktır. Rozase hastalarındaki duyarlı deri, hastalarda lokal tedavi ve bakım ürünlerinin seçimini oldukça zorlaşmaktadır. Güneşten koruyucular rozase hastalarında koruyucu tedavi açısından kullanımları önemli olan ancak fotoalerjik kontakt dermatit geliştirme sıklıkları yüksek olan ürünlerdir. Amacımız rozase hastalarındaki standart ve güneşten koruyucu madde alerjisini araştırmaktır.Çalışmamız kapsamında 42 rozase hastası ile yaş ve cinsiyet özellikleri uyumlu kontrol grubundaki 41 kişiye Avrupa standart ve güneşten koruyucu seri maddeleri ile yama ve fotoyama testleri uygulandı. Fotoyama testinde 48. saat sonunda 5 j/cm² dozunda UVA uygulaması yapıldı ve tüm testler 48, 72 ve 96. saatlerde değerlendirildi.Rozase hastalarında Avrupa Standart seri maddelerine karşı yama testinde %69, fotoyama testinde %28 en az bir maddeye reaksiyon görüldü, fotoyama testi için oranlar kontrol grubuna göre anlamlı olarak yüksekti. (p=0,008) Güneşten koruyucu seri maddelerinin fotoyama testi değerlendirilmesinde %19 en az bir maddeye reaksiyon görüldü ve bu oran da kontrol grubuna göre anlamlı düzeyde yüksekti (p=0,002) Avrupa Standart seri maddelerinden peru balsamı (p= 0,017), koku karışımlarına (p=0,002 ve 0,035) hasta grubunda; potasyum dikromata (p= 0,046) kontrol grubunda diğer gruba göre anlamlı oranda daha fazla pozitiflik saptandı.Hastalarda güneşten koruyuculardan oktokrilene karşı fotoalerjik reaksiyon görülme oranı (%9,6) kontrol grubuna göre anlamlı olarak yüksekti.(p=0.035) Bu sonuçlarla rozase hastalarında alerjenlerin saptanması ile alevlenmeleri önlemenin yanında, güneşten koruyucu krem ve topikal ürünlerin içeriklerinin düzenlenmesine katkı sağlanabilecektir. Henüz literatürde rozase hastalarında güneşten koruyuculara kontakt sensitizasyonun araştırıldığı bir çalışma olmadığından araştırmamız bu konuda prospektif ve kontrollü ilk çalışma olması bakımından önem taşımaktadır.

Rosacea is a chronic disease which affects convex areas of the face characterized by flushing, persistent erythema and telangiectases and can be followed by inflammation signs like flushing, papule and pustule. Irritable skin of the patients with rosacea makes the local treatment and care products’ choices quite difficult.Sunscreens are important for protective treatment of patients with rosacea but they can often cause photoallergic contact dermatitis. The aim of the research is to investigate standard material and sunscreen allergy on patients with rosacea Patch and photopatch tests with sunscreen products and European standard series allergens were performed on 42 patients with rosacea and control group of 41 people all matching by age and gender. After application of allergens for 48 hours, UVA was irradiated with a dose of 5 J/cm², and tests were evaluated in 48th, 72nd and 96th hours.In the patients with rosacea, reaction to at least one allergen of European standard series patch test was observed as 69% and to photopatch test as 28%.Photopatch test results were significantly high, compared to the test results of the control group. (p=0,008) In evaluation of photopatch test of sunscreen allergens, reaction to at least one allergen was observed as 19% and that was also significantly high, compared to control group. (p=0,002) Among the reaction to the European standard series allergens, fragrance mixes (p=0,002 and 0,035) and balsam of Peru (p=0,017), was observed significantly more in patient group, while the reaction to potassium dichromate(p=0,046) was significantly more in control group, compared to the other group.The percentage of photoallergic reaction of patients against octocrylene, one of the sunscreens, (9,6%) was significantly high, compared to control group.(p=0.035) With the results of this study, a contribution will be made for detecting allergens of patients with rosacea and preventing breakouts as well as controlling the contents of sunscreen creams and topical products. There is no study in the literature about a research on contact sensitivity of patients with rosacea to sunscreens yet, so our study is essential with its prospective and controlled method, as it is the first study in this theme.
