Yapılan bu çalışmada bir veya birbirine komşu iki diş eksikliği nedeniyle uygulanan 3 veya 4 üyeli köprü restorasyonu söz konusu olduğunda farklı metal altyapı elde etme yöntemlerinin marjinal aralık üzerine etkileri değerlendirilmiştir. Ayrıca metal alt yapı üzerine estetik materyal olarak seramik materyalin uygulanması sırasında gerçekleşen ısı uygulaması ve fırınlama işlemlerinin de marjinal aralığı önceden kaydedilmiş metal alt yapı üzerinde meydana getirdiği değişiklik miktarları da değerlendirilmiştir. Buna ilave olarak konvansiyonel döküm metodu ile diğer yeni döküm tekniklerinin birbiri ile olan uyum farklılıkları da incelenmiştir. Çalışmamızda 6 farklı deney grubu 4 farklı üretim tekniği ile hazırlandı ve her grup için 10 adet 3 ve 4 üyeli metal destekli sabit bölümlü protez çalışmaya dahil edildi. Marjinal aralık ölçümleri her iki aşamadan sonra da gerçekleştirildi. Her bir kuron marjininde 40 nokta belirlenerek ölçümler için stereomikroskop kullanıldı. Metal altyapı hazırlanması ve seramik fırınlanma aşamalarından sonraki marjinal aralık ölçümleri sırasıyla konvasiyonel döküm grubunda 3 üyeli köprülerde 160.33 μm ve 170.05 μm, 4 üyeli köprülerde 149.21 μm ve 171.61 μm, indüksiyon döküm grubunda 3 üyeli köprülerde 83.21 μm ve 90.95 μm, 4 üyeli köprülerde 81.70 μm ve 87.60 μm, lazer sinterleme grubunda 3 üyeli köprülerde 57.02 μm ve 75.37 μm, alt grubunda 27.00 μm ve 33.40 μm, 4 üyeli köprülerde 56.24 μm ve 80.63 μm, alt grubunda 31.9 μm ve 38.3 μm, metal milleme grubunda 3 üyeli köprülerde 71.31 μm ve 72.42 μm, alt grubunda 37.80 μm ve 40.40 μm, 4 üyeli köprülerde 71.06 μm ve 73.56 μm, alt grubunda 35.50 μm ve 37.70 μm olarak belirlendi ve konvansiyonel 3 ve 4 üyeli köprü grupları hariç diğer gruplardaki marjinal aralık değer ortalamaları klinikte kabul edilebilir marjinal aralık seviyelerinin altında olarak tespit edildi. Tüm metal-seramik köprü gruplarında marjinal aralık değişimleri porselen fırınlama aşamasından sonra artış gösterdi ve metal milleme grubu hariç diğer tüm gruplar arasındaki aralık değişimleri anlamlı olarak farklılık gösterdi. Genel olarak, metal milleme metal seramik köprü grupları arasında fırınlama aşamalarında marjinal aralık değişiminde fark gözlenmedi. This study sought to evaluate and compare the marginal and internal fit in vitro of single unit FDP’s in different metal alloys made using four fabrication techniques, and to conclude the misfit is present. The specimens were fabricated with four different production techniques and they were evaluated within 6 groups where 10 three and four unit bridge simulations were assigned for each group. In addition, we examined the marginal adaptation of metal-ceramic bridges after the firing cycles for porcelain veeners and these scores were compared with the final marginal adaptations of the previously recorded scores for the metal framework groups. 40 points were defined at the crown margins and a stereomicroscope was used for measurements.For the conventional casting group after the metal framework production and porcelain firing cycles marginal gap values were found to be 160,33 μm and 170,05 μm in 3 unit FPD’s and 149.21 μm and 171.61 μm in 4 unit FPD’s in order. For the induction casting group the values were 83.21 μm and 90.95 μm in 3 unit FPD’s and 81.70 μm and 87.60 μm in 4 unit FPD’s in order. Laser sintering 3 unit FPD’s marginal gap measurements were 57.02 μm and 75.37 μm; 27.00 μm and 33.40 μm for subgroup and 4 unit measurements were 56.24 μm and 80.63 μm; 31.9 μm and 38.30 μm for subgroup in order. Direct metal miling 3 unit FPD’s marginal gap measurements were 71.31 μm and 72.42 μm; 37.80 μm and 40.40 μm for subgroup.4 unit measurements were 71.06 μm and 73.56 μm; 31.90 μm and 38.30 μm in order.All the groups were at the clinically acceptable levels except conventional casting method samples. In all metal-ceramic groups, the marginal gap changes occured after porcelain firing stages and marginal gap changes were found statistically different in each groups. There were no statistically significant differences in the comparison of the marginal gap measurement changes between direct metal milling groups during the firing cycles.
