Bu tez çalışmasının amacı, bir bilgisayar yardımı ile bir cismi 3-boyutlu olarak görüntülemektir. Bu çalışmada cisimlerin 3-boyutlu şekillerinin elde edilebilmesi için, yüzeylerindeki noktaların konumları ayrı ayrı hesaplandı. Bu hesaplamalarda kullanmak üzere 3-boyutlu uzayda trigonometrik formüller elde edildi. Bu çalışmada bir bilgisayar, lazer ışın kaynağı ve bilgisayar kamerası (web kamera) kullanıldı. 3-boyutlu ortamda bir noktanın konumunun hesaplanabilmesi için temel olarak bir üçgen elde edilmesi gerekmektedir. Bu üçgenin bir köşesini hedef cisim üzerindeki konumu hesaplanacak nokta, bir köşesini kamera, bir köşesini de kullanılan sisteme bağlı olarak, başka bir kamera ya da ışın kaynağı oluşturmaktadır. Bu ışın kaynağı nokta ya da çizgi şeklinde ışık üretmektedir. Bu ışın kaynağından cismin üzerine düşen nokta veya çizgiler, cismin üzerinde konumu hesaplanacak noktaları belirler. Taranan yüzeyin 3-boyutlu şeklini elde etmek için, üzerindeki taranan noktaların konumlarından oluşan matris hesaplanarak bu cismin nokta bulutu elde edildi. The aim of this thesis is to image the object by three dimensional via computer. In this study to be able to obtain the 3-D shape of the objects, the all of the surface points of the object were calculated. We developed trigonometric formulas in 3-D space for employing in these calculations. In this thesis a personal computer, web camera and laser source were used. To be able to obtain the coordinates of one point in 3-D environment, fundamentally one triangle should be obtained. The corners of this triangle are made up of laser source, target object and web camera. The shape of the laser light is a point or a line. This laser light is sent for calculating the coordinates of intended points of target object. We obtained the scanned objects' point cloud with the calculated matrix of the intended points on target object for 3D shape of the scanned surface.
