TS 825 Binalarda Isı Yalıtım Kuralları' na uygun yapı üretiminde dış duvar sistemini oluşturan malzemelerin seçimi önemli bir unsurdur. Dış duvar sistemini oluşturan iki ana öğe ise dolgu duvar malzemesi ve ısı yalıtım malzemesidir. Bu çalışmanın amacı mimarların dış duvar malzemesi seçim sürecinde hangi kriterleri göz önünde bulundurduğu ve ısı yalıtımına ne kadar önem verdiğini araştırmak ve malzeme seçimine yönelik öneriler verebilmektir. Çalışmada Antalya.da mimari tasarım ve uygulama yapan 20 mimara anket uygulanmıştır. En çok tercih edilen dolgu duvar malzemelerinin ve yalıtım malzemelerinin özellikleri incelenerek malzemelerin avantaj ve dezavantajları tespit edilmiştir. En uygun duvar sistemini tespit edebilmek için TS 825 Binalarda Isı Yalıtım Kuralları' na göre 1. Derece-Gün Bölgesi' nde bulunan Antalya'da tuğla, bimsblok ve gazbeton kullanılması durumunda ısıl konfor koşullarını sağlayan dış duvar sistemleri ve optimum yalıtım malzemesi kalınlıkları incelenmiştir ve ek olarak oluşturulan dış duvar sistemlerinin maliyet analizleri yapılarak, 1. Derece-Gün Bölgesi' nde kullanılması uygun olan dış duvar sistemleri belirlenmiştir. Yapılan incelemelere göre uygulama yapan mimarların malzemeler ile ilgili yeterli bilgiye sahip olmadıkları görülmüştür. Yapılan analizler sonucunda gazbeton ve bimsbloğun tuğladan daha üstün özelliklere sahip olduğu görülmüştür. Sistemlerin maliyet analizinde ise bimsblok ile oluşturulan sistemlerin, gazbetonla oluşturulan sistemlerden daha ekonomik olduğu görülmüştür. Ancak 1. Derece-Gün Bölgesi' nde tek bir dış duvar sistemi önermek doğru bir yaklaşım değildir. Malzeme seçiminde önemli olan malzemelerin özelliklerini, malzemenin kullanılacağı bölgenin iklimsel verilerini, oluşturulacak dış duvar sisteminin gereksinimlerini bilmek ve dış duvar sistemini bu bilgiler doğrultusunda oluşturmaktır. Choosing the exterior wall materials appropriate to thermal insulation rules in construction of TS 825 buildings is very important. Two main items of exterior wall system is wall filling material and thermal insulation material. The aim of this study is to research which criterias the architects considered in the selection process of the wall material and how much they give importance to thermal insulation, and to provide suggestions for the selection of materials. 20 architects who does architectural design and construction in Antalya, were applied a questionnaire in the study. Advantages and disadvantages of the materials were determined by examining the characteristics of the most preferred wall filling materials and thermal insulation materials. To find the best suitable exterior wall system which is appropriate to thermal insulation rules in construction of TS 825 buildings 1st Degree-Day Zone Antalya, exterior wall system and optimum thickness of thermal insulation materials that provide thermal comfort conditions is defined in case of using brick, bimsblock and autoclaved aerated concrete. Exterior wall systems which are appropriate to use in the 1st Degree-Day Zone were identified by making cost analysis of the created exterior wall systems. According to investigations the architects do not have enough information about the materials. But systems created by bimsblock are found to be more economical than the systems created by autoclaved aerated conrete in the cost analysis. However, determining the only one exterior wall systems in 1st Degree-Day Zone is not a accurate approach. The important point in the selection of material is to know the characteristics of the materials, climatic data of the region where the materials are going to be used, requirements of exterior wall system, and composing exterior wall system through this informations.
