Müşkilül-Kurân klasik anlamda ayetin kendi içinde veya ayetler arası sözde çelişkiden bahsetmektedir. Müfessirler bu alanla ilgili birçok eser vermişlerdir. Ancak tarihî süreç içinde yeni müşkiller oluşmaya devam etmiştir. Özellikle modern Batı düşüncesinin gelişmesi, bilimsel ilerlemelerin kaydedilmesi neticesinde bazı ayetleri anlamada ve yorumlamada yeni müşkiller meydana gelmiştir. Kurânda olağanüstü olayların anlatıldığı mucizeler, ahiret ahvaline ait bazı durumlar, adalet, ceza gibi bazı ahkâm konularında farklı yorumlar yapılmıştır. Bu bağlamda biz Muhammed Esedin Kurân Mesajı adlı tefsirini esas alarak bu konu ile ilgili ayetleri ele aldık. Muhammed Esedin görüşleri ve klasik yorum etrafında bir araştırma yaptık. Esed olağanüstü olayları genelde tabiî bir olay olarak değerlendirmiştir. Ancak Esedin lafza bağlı kalarak anlam verdiği ayetler de mevcuttur. Bu durum Esedin klasik anlamda mucizeyi inkar etmediğini göstermektedir. Onun mucizeler konusundaki bu yaklaşımı tabiî olayları da mucize olarak görmesinden kaynaklanmaktadır. Esed çağdaş müşkil olarak değerlendirdiğimiz bazı ahkâm ayetlerini, içinde yetiştiği ve hitap ettiği batı insanını da dikkate alarak klasik yorumdan farklı değerlendirmeler yapmıştır. Ahiret ve ğaybla alâkalı konuları mecaz olarak ele almıştır. Bilimsel içerikli ayetlere yaklaşımı ise makûl bir yaklaşımdır. Bütün bu özellikleri ile beraber Esed Türkiyede Kurân çalışmalarına bir soluk getirmiştir. Büyük bir emeğin ürünü olan bu eser hâlâ etkisini devam ettirmektedir. Esed aynı zamanda birçok açıdan eleştirilmiştir.
Difficulty of Kor'an commonly discusses about the so called contradiction of the verse of Kor'an itself or between the verses of Kor'an. Annotators has contributed a lot of works in this field. But through the course of the history new difficulties arose. Especially, after the advance of the modern western thinking, progress in science, new difficulties started. Thus, different interpretations have been made about the miracles in which extraordinary things are told in Kor'an, subjects of law judgements, some situations about the people of hereafter, law judgements like judgement and punishment. In this context, grounding on the Muhammed Esed's tafsir The Message of Kor'an we handled the verses related to this subject. We made a research in paralel with the view of Muhammad Asad and classical commentary. Asad has commentated as natural events when it comes to extraordinary events. But there are verses for which Esed verbally construes. This shows that Esed doesn't deny the miracles classically. The reason of his attitude about the miracles is that he sees the natural events as miracle too. Asad made different evaluation about the verses of law judgements which we call modern müşkil from the classical commentary, taking the western people and their culture who he adresses to into account. He discussed the Hereafter and subjects related to Gayb ironically. His attitude about the verses with scientific context is a reasonable attitude. Asad with all these features of his, has breathe new life into Kor'an studies in Turkey. This work of him which is the result of a great labor is still in affect. Asad has also been critisized in so many respects.
