Çalışma, Isparta kent merkezinde sokakta çalışan-çalıştırılan çocukları kentsel bir sorun alanı olarak ele almaktadır. Yapılan araştırmalara farklı bir katkı getirebilme beklentisinde, kentsel sorunlara çocuk odaklı bakan, nitel bir çalışma özelliği taşımaktadır. Çocukların deneyimlerini, duygularını, algılarını düşüncelerini anlayabilmek için farklı konu başlıkları altında görüşmeler yapılmış ve değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırma evreni olarak Isparta seçilmiştir. Bu amaçla Isparta’da çocukların yoğun olarak çalıştıkları mahalleler beş ayrı bölümde incelenmiştir. 1 ay boyunca sokakta çalıştığı gözlenen çocuklarla derinlemesine görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Uygulama sürecinde yapılan görüşmelerde önemli bulgular elde edilmiştir. Araştırmada, katılımcı çocukların ailelerinin Isparta’ya göç ile geldiği, gelir ve eğitim düzeylerinin oldukça düşük olduğu, ailelerin çok çocuklu ve kırsal alandan göç etmiş oldukları tespit edilmiştir. The study approaching to the urban issues as child-focused with the expectation to bring a different contribution to the researches done bears a qualitative study features. In the study, children have been interviewed and evaluated under different topics in order to understand their experiences, feelings, perceptions and thoughts. Isparta has been chosen as the universe of study in the research. For this purpose, the neigborhoods in which children work intensively on the street in Isparta have been investigated in five different sections. For 1 month, detailed interviews have been done with the children working on the street. Significant findings have been obtained in the interviews during the implementation process. In the study, it has been found that the families of the children participated in the study have come to Isparta by immigration, have very low income and level of education and have migrated from rural areas with many children. In the study, it has been determined that the families have difficulty in meeting the basic needs of their children, therefore, children are forced to work on the street.Keywords: City, Urban Issues, Child, Children Working on StreetsJel Codes: I31, I39
