Özellikle sağlık turizminde son yıllarda yaşanan gelişmelerle birlikte bu konseptte Türkiye'ye tatile gelen turist sayısında artış olmaktadır. Gerek hizmet kalitesi gerekse uygulanan fiyat politikası nedeniyle sağlık turizmi alanında Avrupa'da önemli bir merkez konumuna gelmiştir. Bu doğrultuda çalışmanın temel amacı: medikal turizmde hizmet kalitesi boyutları ile hastaların demografik özellikleri arasındaki ilişkileri belirlemektir. Çalışmada hizmet kalitesi ölçümü için önem-performans analizi yöntemi kullanılmış ve Kuşadası bölgesinde faaliyet gösteren sağlık kuruluşlarına başvuran hastaların katılımıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Nicel yöntemlerle yürütülen bu araştırma; iki adet özel muayenehane, bir adet tıp merkezi ve bir adet A sınıfı özel hastane işletmesinde uygulanmış ve 376 hastadan anket tekniği ile veri toplanmıştır. Çalışmada uygulanan analizler sonucunda; hastaların algıladıkları hizmet kalitesi düzeyinin ortalamanın üzerinde olduğu belirlenmiş, hastaların hizmet kalitesi algıları ile hastaların memnuniyet düzeyi arasında ilişkiler olduğu belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca hastaların hizmet kalitesi ve memnuniyet düzeylerinin bazı demografik karakteristiklere göre anlamlı bir biçimde farklılaşmadığı belirlenmiştir. Çalışmanın bir diğer sonucu olan Önem-Performans Analizi matrisine göre ise sağlık işletmelerinin müşteri memnuniyetinin arttırılması adına yoğulaşması gereken konular şu şekilde belirlenmiştir: Hastalar açısından özellikle hemşireler ve diğer hastane personeli ile iyi bir iletişim kurabilmek, hastalara tedavi süreci ile ilgili işlemlerin taahhüt edilen şekilde yerine getirilmesi ve hastane personelinin hastaların düşüncelerini önemsemedir. Especially with the developments in health tourism in recent years, there is an increase in the number of tourists visiting Turkey in this concept. Turkey has become an important center of health tourism in Europe due to its service quality and price policy. Therefore, the main purpose of this study is to determine the relationships between service quality dimensions and patients' demographic characteristics in medical tourism. In the study, importance-performance analysis method was used for quality of service measurement and it was performed with the participation of patients who applied to health institutions operating in Kuşadası region. This quantitative study was conducted in two private clinics, one medical center and one class A private hospital. Data were collected from 376 patients by questionnaire. As a result of the analysis applied in the study; It was determined that the level of service quality perceived by the patients was above the average and there was a relationship between the perception of service quality of the patients and the satisfaction level of the patients. In addition, it was determined that service quality and satisfaction levels of patients did not differ significantly according to some demographic characteristics. According to the Importance-Performance Analysis matrix, which is another result of the study, the issues that should be concentrated in order to increase the customer satisfaction of the health enterprises are determined as follows: To be able to establish good communication with the nurses and other hospital staff in the patients, and to perform the procedures regarding the treatment process to the patients as committed. and care of the opinions of the hospital staff patients.
