dc.description In this study, which is a method of producing electricity from renewable energy sources, solar power tower system is investigated. Various programs have been developed for tracking the sun's position and concentrating the captured solar radiation to the receiver by heliostat mirror. By using this software, design parameters, which are a number of mirrors, mirror size, tower height, radius of the area, have been obtained for 10 MW SDU solar power tower. Also, cost analyses were made for heliostat and automation systems which are used in this project. Heliostat mirrors were operated with using the developed software and automation system during the test period, and obtained tracking errors. As a result, all design parameters for a 10 MW power plant have been obtained.
