Bu prospektif çalışmamızda Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi Genel Cerrahi Kliniği'nde Ocak 2010-Ocak 2020 yılları arasında inguinal herni tanısı ile açık tension free (61 hasta) ya da laparaskopik TAPP (68 hasta) amelyatı yapılan toplam 129 hasta (155 herni) sonuçlarıyla birlikte değerlendirildi. Olguların Erkek / Kadın oranı 119/10 olup yaş ortalaması 56,21 olarak bulundu.Bizim çalışmamızda nyhus klasifikasyonuna göre 129 hastadaki 155 herninin 69'u (%44,5) Tip2, 57'si (%36.7) Tip 3A, 18'i (%11,6) Tip 3B olarak değerlendirilmiş olup, açık ameliyat olan hastalarda Nyhus 3A oranı daha yüksek iken kapalı ameliyat olanlarda Nyhus 2 olanların oranı daha yüksektir. Hastaların hastanede ortalama yatış süresi 1,57 gün olarak saptandı. Genel toplamda 23 komplikasyon (hasta sayısı bazında %17,83) görülmüştür. Ameliyat tipi ile yaş ve yatış süresi arasında anlamlı ilişki bulunmamaktadır.Ameliyat tipi ile cinsiyet arasında anlamlı ilişki bulunmamıştır. Açık ameliyat olan hastalarda sağ taraf oranı kapalı ameliyat olan hastalara göre daha fazladır. Kapalı ameliyat olan hastalarda sol taraf oranı ve bilateral oranı açık ameliyat olan hastalara göre daha fazladır. Ameliyat tipleri arasında yandaş hastalık varlığı ve çeşitleri bakımından anlamlı ilişki yoktur.Ameliyat tipleri arasında komplikasyon varlığı ve çeşitleri bakımından anlamlı ilişki yoktur. Çalışmamızda sonuçlar literatürle genel olarak uyumlu bulunmuş olup, laparoskopik onarımın açık onarım kadar güvenle uygulanabiliceğini kanıtlar niteliktedir.
In this prospective study, a total of 129 patients (155 hernias) who underwent open tension free (61 patients) or laparoscopic TAPP (68 patients) with the diagnosis of inguinal hernia between January 2010 and January 2020 in Süleyman Demirel University General Surgery Clinic were evaluated together with their results. The male / female ratio of the cases was 119/10 and the mean age was 56.21. In our study, 69 (44.5%) of 155 hernias in 129 patients were evaluated as Type 2, 57 (36.7%) as Type 3A, and 18 (11.6%) were Type 3B according to the nyhus classification. While the 3A rate is higher, the rate of those with Nyhus 2 is higher in those with closed surgery. The average length of stay in the hospital was 1.57 days. Overall, there were 23 complications (17.83% based on the number of patients). There is no significant relationship between the type of surgery and age and length of stay. There was no significant relationship between the type of surgery and gender. The right side ratio is higher in patients with open surgery compared to patients with closed surgery. Patients with closed surgery have a higher left-sided and bilateral rate compared to patients with open surgery. There is no significant relationship between the types of surgery in terms of the presence and types of concomitant diseases. There is no significant relationship between the types of surgery in terms of complications and types. In our study, the results were found to be generally compatible with the literature, and it proves that laparoscopic repair can be performed as safely as open repair.
