Son dönemlerde, gelişen teknolojiler ile birlikte insanların boş zamanlarının ve spora olan ilgilerinin artması sonucunda sağlıklı yaşam ve spor merkezlerinde de artış görülmektedir. Bu artışlar işletmeler arası rekabete neden olmuştur. Artan rekabet ortamında spor işletmeleri başarılı olabilmek için müşteri isteklerini göz önünde bulundurması, hizmet kalitesini sağlaması, maliyetleri azaltması ve müşteri memnuniyetinin arttırılması gerekmektedir. Müşteri memnuniyeti ve hizmet kalitesi spor işletmeleri için önemli kavramlardır. Bu kavramlar belli bir düzeyin üzerinde tutulduğunda işletmeler rakiplerinden bir adım önde bulunmakta ve yeniden tercih edilme olasılıkları yükselmektedir. Sonuç olarak yapılan bu çalışma ile müşteri memnuniyetinin artırılması konusunda spor işletmelerine yol göstereceği ve spor bilimine katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir. Bu bağlamda çalışmada Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi spor tesislerini kullanan bireylerin müşteri memnuniyetini ölçmek ve buna dayanarak önerilerde bulunulması amaçlanmıştır. SDÜ spor tesislerinde uygulanan kursların kursiyerleri ve serbest kullanım için gelen müşterilerin memnuniyet seviyelerini ölçmek amacıyla üç bölümden oluşan anket çalışması uygulanmıştır. Anketin birinci bölümünde araştırmaya katılanların demografik bilgilerine yönelik sorular yer almaktadır. Anketin ikinci bölümünde SDÜ Spor Tesislerini tercih etme sebepleri ve SDÜ Spor Tesislerine gitme amaçları belirlenmiştir. Anketin üçüncü bölümünde antrenör, diğer personel ve tesisler ile ilgili genel sorular sorulmuştur. Araştırmaya 600 kişi katılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde istatistik paket programı kullanılmıştır. Kullanıcıların ankete verdikleri cevaplar tanımlayıcı istatistikler ile incelenip sonuçlar hakkında genel bilgiler edinilmiştir. Araştırma modelindeki değişkenler için regresyon analizinden yararlanılmıştır. Analiz sonucunda, spor tesislerindeki hizmet kalitesi ve alt boyutları olan spor merkezine gitme amacı, spor tercih etme sebebi, antrenör, diğer personel ve tesis durumu değişkenlerinin müşteri memnuniyeti üzerinde anlamlı ve pozitif etkisi olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
Recently, there has been seen an increase in healthy life and sports centers as a result of the increase in leisure time and sports interest of people with the developing technologies. These increases caused competition among businesses. In order to be successful in sports businesses in an increasingly competitive environment, it is necessary to take into account customer requests, to ensure service quality, to reduce costs and to increase of customer satisfaction. Customer satisfaction and service quality are important concepts for sports businesses. When these concepts are kept above a certain level, businesses are one step ahead of their competitors and increase the possibility of being preferred again. As a result, it is thought that this study will guide sports businesses in increasing customer satisfaction and contribute to sports science. In this context, it was aimed to measure the customer satisfaction of individuals using the Süleyman Demirel University sports facilities and to make suggestions based on this. In order to measure the satisfaction levels of the trainees of the courses applied in SDU sports facilities and the customers coming for free use, a questionnaire study consisting of three parts was applied. In the first part of the questionnaire, there are questions about the demographic information of the research participants. In the second part of the questionnaire, the reasons for choosing SDU Sports Facilities and the purposes of going to SDU Sports Facilities have been determined. In the third part of the questionnaire, general questions were asked about the trainer, other staff and the facilities. 600 people has been participated in the study. Statistical package program was used to analyze the datas. The responses of the users to the questionnaire were analyzed with descriptive statistics and general information was obtained about the results. Regression analysis was used for the variables of the research model. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that the service quality and sub-dimensions of sports facilities, the purpose of going to the sports center, the reason for choosing sports, the trainer, other staff and the facility status variables have a significant and positive effect on customer satisfaction.
