İşletmelerin en önemli varlıkları arasında stok unsurları yer almaktadır. Stoklar özellikle üretim işletmelerinin sürekliliğini sağlayan varlık kalemleridir. Stoklarla ilgili olarak Vergi Usul Kanunu, Türkiye Muhasebe Standartları Stoklar Standardı(TMS 2) ve (BOBİ FRS) farklı düzenlemeler ve uygulamalar bulunmaktadır. Bu farklılıklardan birisiyse tavsiye edilen stok maliyet yöntemleridir. TMS 2 normal maliyet yöntemini tavsiye ederken, vergi mevzuatı tam maliyet yönteminin kullanılmasını zorunlu kılmıştır. BOBİ FRS ise her iki maliyet yönteminin kullanılmasını da önermektedir. Kullanılan maliyet yöntemleri doğrultusunda kayıt düzenlerinde de farklılıklar ortaya çıkmaktadır. Ortaya çıkan bu farklar stok kalemlerini çok fazla etkilemekte ve finansal tablo kullanıcılarının kararlarına yansımaktadır. Çalışmada Vergi Usul Kanunu, TMS 2 Stoklar standardı ve BOBİ FRS açısından stok maliyet yöntemleri karşılaştırmalı olarak incelenmiştir. Çalışma sonuçlarına göre TMS 2 ve BOBİ FRS'nin önerdiği normal maliyet yöntemi Vergi Usul Kanunun kabul ettiği tam maliyet yöntemine göre daha gerçekçi ve güvenilir sonuçlar ortaya çıkarmaktadır. Ayrıca maliyet yöntemlerine göre ortaya çıkan farklılıkların sebeplerini açıklamaktır. Stock elements are among the most important assets of businesses. Inventories are especially asset items that ensure the continuity of production enterprises. There are different regulations and practices in Tax Procedure Law, Turkey Accounting Standards Inventories standard(TMS 2) and Large and Medium Businesses Financial Reporting Standards(LME FRS) regarding stocks. One of the differences in the applications is the recommended inventory cost methods. While TMS 2 recommends the normal cost method, tax legislation obliges the use of the full cost method. LME FRS proposes to use both cost methods. There are differences in the registration schemes in line with the cost methods used. These differences affect the stock items very much and are reflected in the decisions of the users of financial statements. In this paper, the Tax Procedure Law, TMS 2 Inventories standard and inventory cost methods in terms of LME FRS were analysed comparatively. The aim of the study is to show that the normal cost method proposed by TMS 2 and Large and Medium Endustries Financial Report Standards produces more realistic and reliable results than the full cost method accepted by the Tax Procedure Law. In addition, it is to show differences according to cost methods and to explain the reasons of these differences.
