Küreselleşme sonucunda dünya genelinde hız kazanan rekabet yarışları tüm sektörleri etkilediği gibi hizmet sektörünü de etkilemektedir. Bu durum hizmet sektörü altında faaliyet gösteren muhasebe meslek mensuplarının hizmet, kalite ve performans gibi mükellef memnuniyetini arttıracak rekabet araçlarına önem vermelerine yol açmaktadır. Günümüzde muhasebe meslek mensuplarının rekabette ön plana çıkmasını sağlayacak en önemli unsurların başında daha kaliteli hizmetler sunmak ve çalışma performanslarını üst seviyelerde tutmak gelmektedir. Bu çalışmada, Batı Akdeniz (Antalya, Isparta, Burdur) Bölgesi'nde muhasebe meslek mensupları ve elemanlarının sunmuş oldukları hizmet kalitesi ve çalışma performansının mükelleflerce nasıl değerlendirildiği ölçülmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışma kapsamında, Batı Akdeniz Bölgesi'nde faaliyet gösteren ve muhasebe hizmeti alan 394 işletme üzerinde araştırma yapılmıştır. Araştırmada SERVQUAL ölçeği yardımıyla mükelleflerin hizmet kalitesi algıları, çalışan performansı ölçeği ile de performans algı düzeyleri ölçülmüş ve çalışan performansı algı düzeyinin hizmet kalitesi algı düzeyine etkisinin olup olmadığı araştırılmıştır. Çalışmada, katılımcıların hizmet kalitesi ve performans algı düzeyleri belirlenirken doğrulayıcı faktör analizlerinden, yapısal eşitlik modellerinden ve istatistiksel testlerden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlara göre, performans algı düzeyinin hizmet kalitesi algı düzeyi üzerinde etkisi olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Competition races that accelerate globally in terms of globalization affect not only the sectors but also the service sector. This situation causes the professional accountants operating under the service sector to give importance to competitive tools that will increase customer satisfaction such as service, quality and performance. Today, it is aimed to provide better quality services and keep working performances at the top of the most important elements that will enable professional accountants to stand out in competition. In the Western Mediterranean (Antalya, Isparta, Burdur) Region, it was tried to measure how the service quality and working performance offered by professional accountants are evaluated by the customers. As part of the study, research has been conducted on 394 taxpayers operating in the Western Mediterranean Region and receiving accounting services. With the help of the SERVQUAL questionnaire, the perception of service quality of individuals and their performance perception levels were measured with the employee performance survey and whether employee performance perception level has an impact on service quality perception level. Confirmatory factor analysis, structural equation models and statistical tests were used in the study while determining the service quality and performance perception levels of the participants. According to the results obtained from the research, it has been concluded that the performance perception level has an effect on the service quality perception level.
