Bu araştırmada Bilişim Teknolojileri öğretmenlerinin robotik kodlama eğitimi deneyimleri ile ilgili görüşlerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu kapsamda Bilişim Teknolojileri öğretmenlerinin derslerinde kullandıkları robotik araçlar, hangi robotik kodlama eğitimi etkinliklerine yer verdikleri, hangi düzeyde bilgi sahibi oldukları ve konu hakkındaki düşünceleri belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Araştırma farklı illerde MEB'e bağlı devlet okulları ve özel okullarda görev yapmakta olan, sınıflarında robotik kodlama eğitime yer veren 14 Bilişim Teknolojileri öğretmeni ile yürütülmüştür. Öğretmenlerin konu ile ilgili görüşlerini ortaya çıkarmak için 12 sorudan oluşan yarı-yapılandırılmış görüşme formu hazırlanmıştır. Üç öğretmen ile yapılan görüşme sonrası uzaktan eğitim sürecinin de konuya dâhil edilmesi gerektiği anlaşılmış ve gerekli düzenlemeler yapılmıştır. Öğretmenler konu ile ilgili önceden bilgilendirilmiş, ortalama 15 dakika süren telefon görüşmesi yapılmıştır. Görüşmeler kayıt altına alınarak yazılı dökümleri yapılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler nitel içerik analiz yöntemi ile analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgular 10 kategoride değerlendirilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgulara göre Bilişim Teknolojileri öğretmenlerinin büyük çoğunluğunun robotik kodlama eğitimi konusunda eğitim aldığı ve yaklaşık yarısının sınıflarında uyguladığı belirli bir eğitim müfredatı olduğu belirlenmiştir. Öğretmenlerin en çok teknolojik kaynakların temini hususunda sorun yaşadığı ve sınıflarının robotik kodlama etkinlikleri için uygun olmadığı anlaşılmıştır. Öğretmenlerin sınıflarında en çok Arduino setinin olduğu, sınıflarında en çok olması istenilen setin Lego Mindstorms olduğu ve en çok MBot seti ile etkinlik yapıldığı belirlenmiştir. Robotik kodlama etkinlikleri kapsamında Bilişim Teknolojileri öğretmenlerinin çoğunun öğrencileri ile birlikte yarışma ya da projeye katıldığı ve bu etkinliklerin daha çok araştırma yapma becerisine katkı sağladığı belirlenmiştir. Uzaktan eğitim ile sürdürülen robotik kodlama eğitiminin verimsiz olduğu görülmüştür. Kurs etkinliği ya da kulüp çalışması olarak yürütülmekte olan robotik kodlama eğitiminin öneminin arttırılarak MEB öğretim programında zorunlu ders olarak yer alması sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. In this research, it is aimed to examine the opinions of Information Technologies teachers about their robotic coding training experiences. In this context, it has been tried to determine the robotic tools that Information Technologies teachers use in their lessons, which robotic coding training activities they include, what level of knowledge they have and their thoughts on the subject. The research was carried out with 14 Information Technologies teachers working in public and private schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education in different provinces, who included robotic coding education in their classes. A semi-structured interview form consisting of 12 questions was prepared in order to reveal the teachers' views on the subject. After the meeting with three teachers, it was understood that the distance education process should be included in the subject and necessary arrangements were made. The teachers were informed about the subject in advance, and a phone interview lasting an average of 15 minutes was made. Interviews were recorded and written transcripts were made. The obtained data were analyzed with the qualitative content analysis method. The findings obtained in the research were evaluated in 10 categories. According to the findings, it was determined that the vast majority of Information Technologies teachers received training on robotic coding education and about half of them had a certain educational curriculum that they applied in their classrooms. It has been understood that teachers mostly have problems in the supply of technological resources and their classrooms are not suitable for robotic coding activities. It has been determined that the teachers have the most Arduino sets in their classrooms, the most desired set in their classrooms is Lego Mindstorms, and the most activities are done with the MBot set. Within the scope of robotic coding activities, it was determined that most of the Information Technologies teachers participated in competitions or projects with their students and these activities contributed to the ability to do more research. It has been seen that the robotic coding education carried out with distance education is inefficient. It has been concluded that the importance of robotic coding education, which is carried out as a course activity or club work, has been increased and included as a compulsory course in the MEB curriculum.
