EFFECT OF STEAM CURING ON SHORT AND LONG-TERM COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH OF SELF-COMPACTING CONCRETE WITH FLY ASH

dc.description In this study, the effect of steam curing on the short and long-term compressive strength of self-compacting concrete containing fly ash was investigated. For this purpose, steam curing was applied to self-compacting concrete with dosages of 500 kg/m3, 550 kg/m3 and 600 kg/m3 in which fly ash was substituted at ratios of 0%, 20%, 30%, 40% and 50% of the cement weight and 1 day, 28-day and 180-day compressive strengths were compared with standard cured concrete. The strength gain of steam cured concrete in 1 day increased as the fly ash replacement ratio increased in level of 24-93%. The ratio of 1-day steam-cured concrete strengths to the 28-day compressive strength increased as the fly ash replacement ratio increased, and strength losses due to steam curing varied between 13% and 6%. In later ages, the difference between steam cured and standard cured strengths increased as the fly ash replacement ratio increased.
dc.description Bu çalışmada buhar kürünün farklı dozajlarda uçucu küllü kendiliğinden yerleşen betonların kısa ve uzun süreli basınç dayanımı üzerine etkisi araştırılmıştır. Bu amaçla çimento ağırlığının %0, %20, %30, %40 ve %50’ si oranında uçucu kül ikame edilen 500 kg/m3, 550 kg/m3 ve 600 kg/m3 dozajlı kendiliğinden yerleşen betonların buhar kürü sonrası 1 gün, 28 gün ve 180 günlük basınç dayanımları standart kür gören betonlarla karşılaştırılmıştır. Buhar kürünün 1 günde sağladığı dayanım kazancı uçucu kül ikame oranı arttıkça artarak %24-93 arasında olmuştur. 28 günlük basınç dayanım oranları ise uçucu kül ikame oranı arttıkça artmış, buhar kürü etkisiyle oluşan dayanım kayıpları %13 ile %6 arasında değişmiştir. İleri yaşta ise uçucu kül ikame oranı arttıkça buhar kürlü ve standart kürlü dayanımlar arasındaki fark büyümüştür.
