In order for a person to complete his physical-mental-social development in a healthy way from the moment he is born; It is important that the process of perceiving the environment and the need to interact with the environment is not interrupted, that he can act freely, is constantly exposed to stimuli that will keep his interest alive, will lead him to think, produce and use his imagination, and thus develop a way of expressing his ideas. Therefore, the spaces used during childhood in particular; should have functional and aesthetic configurations where design, experience and learning intersect. Within the scope of the study, the Vitrahaus structure designed by Herzog & Meuron in the Vitra Campus located in Weil am Rhein, a city in South-West Germany, which basically offers a participatory approach for individuals of all ages, is discussed within the framework of the game-learning-experience relationship with a child-centered understanding. In the study, a case study method, which is one of the qualitative research methods that based on the observation at a single point in a certain time period, and also accepts visual document collection as one of the data collection tools, was used.İnsanın doğduğu andan itibaren fiziksel-zihinsel-sosyal gelişimini sağlıklı bir şekilde tamamlayabilmesinde; içinde bulunduğu çevreyi algılama sürecinin ve çevreyle etkileşimde bulunma ihtiyacının kesintiye uğramaması, özgürce hareket edebilmesi, ilgisini sürekli canlı tutacak, onu düşünmeye-üretmeye-hayal gücünü kullanmaya yöneltecek uyaranlarla karşılaşabilmesi ve böylece fikirlerini, ifade biçimini geliştirebilmesi önemli bir yer tutmaktadır. Bu sebeple özellikle çocukluk dönemlerinde kullanıcısı olunan mekânların; tasarımın, deneyimin ve öğrenmenin kesiştiği işlevsel ve estetik örgütlenmelere sahip olması gerekmektedir. Bu doğrultuda çocuğun gelişim sürecinde aktif kazanımla kendini gerçekleştirebileceği mekânları araştırmayı ve bu mekânların tasarımlarını betimlemeyi amaçlayan çalışmada; temelde her yaştan birey için katılımcı bir yaklaşım sunan, Almanya’nın güneybatı şehirlerinden Weil am Rhein’de kurulmuş Vitra Kampüs içerisindeki Herzog & Meuron tasarımı Vitrahaus yapısı, oyun-öğrenme-deneyim ilişkisi çerçevesinde ele alınmaktadır. Çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden belirli bir zaman diliminde tek bir noktada gözlemleme yöntemine dayanan, aynı zamanda görsel doküman toplamayı veri toplama araçlarından biri olarak kabul eden örnek olay incelemesi kullanılmıştır ve çocukların davranışlarının kısıtlanmadan aktif olarak var olabildikleri mekânlarda merak duygusunun canlı tutulabileceği, geliştirilebileceği ortaya konmuştur.
