Botulinum toxin cause paralysis by means of blocking the release of acetylcholine from presynaptic neurons in neuromuscular end plate, used in several diseases therapeutically and good results are achieved. In this article, bacteriology and pharmacology of the botulinum toxin and its clinical use in dermatology is reviewed. |
