Geleneksel finans teorileri, piyasaların etkin ve insanların finansal piyasada işlem yaparken rasyonel davrandıkları ve insanların kararlarını bu doğrultuda aldığı tezini ileri sürmektedir. İnsanların, yatırım kararlarını beklenen fayda teorisine göre gerçekleştirdiklerine inanmaktadır. Davranışsal finans teorisi ise, geleneksel finans teorilerinin tersine, insanların rasyonel davranamadıklarını, psikolojik ve sosyolojik faktörlerin etkisinde kaldıklarını tezini ileri sürmektedir. Davranışsal finans, yatırımcıların irrasyonel reaksiyon gösterdiklerini ve bu reaksiyonların finansal yatırım kararlarının şekillendirmesine engel olamadıkları üzerinde durmaktadır. Aynı zamanda davranışsal finans geleneksel finans teorileri tarafından açıklanamayan ve piyasalarda meydana gelen anamolileri ifade etmek ve finansal yatırım kararları esnasında insanların yatırım tercihini tahmin etmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Araştırmada, geleneksel finans teorileri ve davranışsal finans teorisinin birbirlerinden farklı yönleri belirtilerek, finansal yatırım kararları, davranışsal eğilimler, yatırımcı psikolojisi ile ilgili bilgiler verilmiştir. Bu araştırmanın amacı, finansal pyasada yatırım yapan taraftarların, tutumsal ve davranışsal bağlılık algıları ile spor kulüplerinin maç kazanma yâda kaybetme, şike iddaaları ve kulüplerin yapmış olduğu flaş transfer değişkenlerinin, kulüplerin pay senedi getiri volatilitesi üzerindeki etkilerini belirlemektir Araştırmada dört büyük futbol kulübüne ait pay senedi getiri volatilitelerinin davranışsal boyutu, ilk halka açılış tarihinden bu yana ölçülmüş ve BIST'ta işlem gören spor kulüplerinin pay senedinin beklenmeyen getirileri davranışsal boyutta ortaya koyulmuştur. BIST'ta işlem gören tüm spor kulüplerine ait pay senedi getirilerinin davranışları R platformunda oluşturulan ARCH-GARCH ekonometri modellemesi yapılarak analiz edilip yorumlanmıştır. Bütün bunlar sonucunda, tüm spor kulüplerinin pay senedi getirileri, seviyesinde durağan bulunmuş, tüm serilerde sistematik bir ARIMA yapısı tespit edilmiş ve getirilerin sistematik olmayan kısımlarında ARCH etkisi tespit edilmiştir. Pay senedi getirileri modellenmesinde APGARCH modeli yapısının uygun olduğu tespit edilerek kaldıraç etkisi anlamlı bulunmuştur. Oynanan maçın kazanılmasının pay senedi getirilerini istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir şekilde etkilediği tek spor kulübü Beşiktaş Jimnastik kulübü (BJKAS) olurken, maçın kaybedilmesi durumunda ise tüm spor kulüplerinin pay senedi getirilerini anlamlı bir şekilde etkilediği görülmüştür. Şike iddaası soruşturması sürecinin pay senedi getirilerini etkilediği kulüpler Galatasaray Spor kulübü (GSRAY) ve Trabzonspor kulübü (TSPOR) iken, flaş transfer haberleri ise sadece Fenerbahçe Spor kulübü (FENER) pay senedi getirilerini etkilediği görülmüştür. Traditional finance theories defend the thesis that markets are efficient and people act rationally when transacting in the financial market. He believes that people make investment decisions according to expected utility theory. Behavioral finance theory, against traditional finance theories, argues that people cannot act rationally and are under the influence of psychological and sociological factors. Behavioral finance emphasizes that investors react irrationally and that these reactions do not prevent them from shaping their financial investment decisions. In addition, behavioral finance aims to express the anomalies occurring in the markets that are not explained by traditional finance theories and to predict the investment preference of people during financial investment decisions.On the one hand, sports turn into a consumption sector as a show and entertainment activity that attracts the attention of large masses, on the other hand, it becomes an attractive economic sector where significant financial movements are experienced for investors. With the opening of sports clubs, especially football, which has the most widespread and wide audience among sportive activities, football ceases to be just for entertainment purposes and becomes an important industry branch. Competition between Fenerbahçe, Beşiktaş, Trabzonspor and Galatasaray sports clubs, which are the most important representatives of football in Turkey, is experienced both on the field at the point of matches and in the stock market as a business. In the research, different aspects of traditional finance theories and behavioral finance theory are indicated, and information about financial investment decisions, behavioral tendencies, investor psychology is given. The purpose of this research is to determine the effects of the attitudinal and behavioral commitment perceptions of the fans investing in the financial market, the winning or losing matches of the sports clubs, the match-fixing bets and the flash transfer variables made by the clubs on the stock return volatility of the clubs. In the research, the behavioral dimension of the stock return volatility of the four big football clubs has been measured since the first public offering date and the unexpected returns of the stocks of the sports clubs traded in the BIST have been revealed in the behavioral dimension. The behavior of the stock returns of all sports clubs traded in BIST was analyzed and interpreted by using ARCH-GARCH econometrics modeling created on the R platform. As a result of all these, the stock returns of all sports clubs were found to be stationary at the level, a systematic ARIMA structure was determined in all series and the ARCH effect was determined in the non-systematic parts of the returns. It was determined that the APGARCH model structure was appropriate in the modeling of stock returns, and the leverage effect was found to be significant. Beşiktaş Gymnastics Club (BJKAS) was the only sports club that had a statistically significant effect on the stock returns of winning the match played, while it was seen that the stock returns of all sports clubs were significantly affected in case of losing the match. While the match-fixing investigation process affected the stock returns, it was seen that Galatasaray Spor club (GSRAY) and Trabzonspor club (TSPOR) affected the stock returns, while flash transfer news only affected the stock returns of Fenerbahçe Sports club (FENER).
