Sürdürülebilir finans uygulamaları, sürdürülebilir kalkınma hedeflerinin gerçekleştirilebilmesinde kilit bir role sahiptir. Finansal sürdürülebilirliğin temelini ise etik yatırım veya sürdürülebilir yatırım olarak da bilinen sosyal sorumlu yatırımlar oluşturmaktadır. Sosyal sorumlu yatırım felsefesi yatırım kararlarına çevresel, sosyal ve yönetimsel faktörlerin entegre edilmesi süreci olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Sosyal sorumlu yatırımlar, sahip olunan tüm kaynak ve değerlerin hızla tüketilmesine paralel olarak büyük bir gelişim göstermiştir. Bu doğrultuda dünya genelinde sosyal sorumlu yatırım araçlarının, endekslerin ve düzenleyici-denetleyici kurumların sayısı artış sergilemiştir. Ancak özellikle sosyal sorumlu yatırım araçları ve uygulamalarının farklı toplumsal değerlere göre şekillendirilmesi gerekmektedir. Bu nedenle, öncelikle yatırımcıların sosyal, etik, çevresel ve yönetimsel konulardaki görüş ve beklentilerinin iyi araştırılması önem arz etmektedir. Bu düşünce çerçevesinde şekillendirilen bu çalışma Türkiye'deki sosyal sorumlu yatırımların durumunu, sosyal sorumlu yatırımcıların demografik yapıları ile tutum, düşünce ve beklentilerini ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. Çalışmanın uygulama bölümü iki aşamadan meydana gelmiştir. İlk aşamada Türkiye'deki sosyal sorumlu yatırımcı profili ortaya konulmaya çalışılmış, ikinci aşamada ise Planlanmış Davranış Teorisi kapsamında, sosyal sorumlu yatırım niyeti ve davranışının altında yatan faktörler incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın ilk kısmı, Türkiye'de sosyal sorumlu yatırımcı oranının nispeten düşük (% 17,5) olduğunu, sorumlu yatırımcıların orta yaş grubunda yer alan, iyi bir eğitim seviyesine sahip ve gelir seviyesi yüksek bireylerden oluştuğunu ortaya koymuştur. Ayrıca yatırımcıları sosyal sorumlu yatırımlara yönlendiren en önemli etkenin sosyal ve çevresel kaygılar, sosyal sorumlu yatırım yapmaktan alıkoyan en önemli etkenin ise bu yatırımlara dair bilgi eksikliği olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Çalışmanın ikinci kısmında ise, Planlanmış Davranış Teorisi ile oluşturulan model yapısal eşitlik modeli yardımıyla analiz edilmiştir. Ulaşılan bulgular, sosyal sorumlu yatırım niyetinin; tutum, öznel norm, algılanan davranış kontrolü ve çevre dostu aktiviteler değişkenleri tarafından yordandığını göstermiştir. Sosyal sorumlu yatırım davranışı ise yatırım niyeti ve algılanan davranış kontrolü tarafından açıklanabilmektedir. Sustainable finance practices have a key role in achieving sustainable development goals. The basis of financial sustainability is formed by socially responsible investments, also known as ethical investing or sustainable investing. Socially responsible investment is defined as the process of integrating environmental, social and governance factors into investment decisions. Socially responsible investments have made great progress in parallel with the rapid consumption of all resources and values. In this direction, the number of socially responsible investment instruments, indices and regulatory and supervisory institutions has increased worldwide. However, especially socially responsible investment instruments and practices need to be shaped according to different social values. For this reason, it is important to thoroughly research the views and expectations of investors on social, ethical, environmental and governance issues. This study, which has been shaped within the framework of this thought, aims to reveal the status of socially responsible investments and the demographic profiles, attitudes, thoughts and expectations of socially responsible investors in Turkey. The application part of the study consisted of two stages. In the first stage, the profile of socially responsible investors in Turkey was revealed, and in the second stage, the factors underlying socially responsible investment intention and behavior were examined within the scope of the Theory of Planned Behavior. The first part of the study revealed that the rate of socially responsible investors in Turkey is relatively low (17,5%) and the responsible investors are middle-aged individuals with a good education level and a high income level. In addition, it has been determined that the most important factor that directs the investors to socially responsible investments is social and environmental concerns and the most important factor that prevents them from making socially responsible investments is the lack of information about these investments. In the second part of the study, the model shaped with the Theory of Planned Behavior was analyzed with the help of the structural equation model. The obtained results reveal that attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control and environmentally friendly activities positively affect socially responsible investment intention. In addition, socially responsible investment behavior can be explained by investment intention and perceived behavioral control.
