Entelektüel tevazu kavramı, kişinin sahip olduğu görüşleri, inanışları veya fikirleri ile alâkalı hata yapmasıyla birlikte, bunları değiştirmeye veya tekrardan yorumlamaya açık olmasını sağlayan düşünceyi ifade etmektedir. Sağlık çalışanlarının hem sosyal hem de meslek hayatlarında entelektüel tevazu sahibi bir birey olmaları, yaşam doyumu düzeylerini yukarı çıkarmak ve sağlık hizmeti sunduğu hastaları ile empati kurma açısından oldukça elzemdir. Buradan hareketle entelektüel tevazu kavramı ile yaşam doyumu kavramı ilişki içerisinde olabilmektedir. Yürütülen çalışmada Kapsamlı Entelektüel Tevazu Ölçeği'nin Türkçeye uyarlanması, sağlık çalışanlarının entelektüel tevazu düzeylerinin çeşitli demografik değişkenler açısından incelenmesi ve entelektüel tevazu ile yaşam doyumu arasındaki ilişkinin araştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma iki farklı çalışmadan oluşmaktadır. İlk çalışmanın evrenini Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi Sağlık Yönetimi ve Siyaset Bilimi Kamu Yönetimi lisans son sınıf ve lisansüstü öğrencileri oluştururken, ikinci çalışmanın evrenini Isparta il merkezinde faaliyet gösteren sağlık kurumları oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma kapsamında 248 lisans son sınıf ve lisansüstü öğrenciye ve 389 sağlık çalışanına ulaşılmıştır. Çalışmada veri toplama aracı olarak Krumrei-Mancuso ve Rouse (2016) tarafından geliştirilen ve araştırmacı tarafından Türkçeye uyarlanan geçerlilik ve güvenilirliği tespit edilen "Kapsamlı Entelektüel Tevazu Ölçeği" ve Diener, Emmons, Larsen ve Griffin (1985, s. 72) tarafından geliştirilen, Dağlı ve Baysal (2016) tarafından Türkçeye kazandırılan "Yasam Doyumu Ölçeği" kullanılmıştır. Sağlık çalışanlarında entelektüel tevazu düzeyinin yaşam doyumu üzerine etkisi regresyon analizi ile incelenmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, entelektüel tevazunun yaşam doyumu üzerinde etkili olduğu sonucu elde edilmiştir. Ek olarak entelektüel tevazu alt boyutları demografik değişkenlere göre kıyaslanmış ve bazı değişkenlerde farklılıklar tespit edilmiştir. The concept of intellectual humility, the views one has, when he makes mistakes about his beliefs or ideas, It expresses the thought that makes it open to change or reinterpretation. It is essential for people to be individuals with intellectual humility in both their social and professional lives, to increase their level of life satisfaction and to empathize with the patients to whom they provide health services. From this point of view, the concept of intellectual humility and the concept of life satisfaction may be in a relationship. In this study, the effect of health workers' intellectual humility levels on their life satisfaction is investigated. The aim of the study was to adapt the Comprehensive Intellectual Humility Scale into Turkish, to examine the intellectual humility levels of healthcare professionals in terms of various demographic variables, and to investigate the relationship between intellectual humility and life satisfaction. The research consists of two different studies. The population of the first study consists of Süleyman Demirel University Healthcare Management and Political Science Public Administration undergraduate senior and postgraduate students, while the population of the second study consists of health institutions operating in the city center of Isparta. Within the scope of the research, 248 senior undergraduate and postgraduate students and 389 health workers were reached. As a data collection tool in the study, the "Comprehensive Intellectual Humility Scale" developed by Krumrei-Mancuso and Rouse (2016) and adapted to Turkish by the researcher, whose validity and reliability was determined, Dağlı, developed by Diener, Emmons, Larsen, and Griffin (1985, p. 72) and Baysal (2016) translated the "Satisfaction with Life Scale" into Turkish. He effect of the level of intellectual humility on life satisfaction in healthcare workers was examined by regression analysis. According to the results of the research, it was concluded that intellectual humility is effective on life satisfaction. In addition, intellectual humility sub-dimensions were compared according to demographic variables and differences were found in some variables.
