<p>Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı, direk yöntem ile hazırlananfiber ile güçlendirilmiş kompozit kantilever köprürestorasyonlarının, bir yıllık hasta memnuniyetinin VASskalası ile değerlendirmektir.Materyal-Metot: Tek diş eksikliğinde direk yöntemleuygulanan 105 adet, fiberle güçlendirilmiş köprü çalışmayadahil edilmiştir. VAS skalası yardımıyla, hastalardanprotezlerinin görünüşü, rengi, çiğneme etkinliği ve genelmemnuniyeti açısından değerlendirme yapmaları istenmiştir.Başlangıç, 3., 6., 9., ve 12. ay kontrol seanslarındadeğerlendirme yapılmıştır. Her bir kategori, 10 mm‘çok memnunum’ 0 mm ‘hiç memnun değilim’ şeklindederecelendirilmiştir.Bulgular: Genel ortalama olarak, VAS skalasında renk(7,03mm), görünüş (7,05), çiğneme (6,4 mm) ve genelmemnuniyet (7,5 mm), olarak tespit edilmiştir. Dönemlerarası fark istatistik olarak anlamlı değildir.Sonuç: Fiber ile güçlendirilmiş kompozit köprü uygulamalarıkoruyucu ve estetik bir tedavi yöntemidir. <p>Objective: To evaluate the patient satisfaction of directlyplaced fibre-reinforced composite (FRC) fixed partialdentures (FPDs) in 1 years with VAS scale.Material-Method: One hundred five FRC FPDs (105subjects) were directly fabricated to restore a single missingtooth. Prosthesis appearance, colour, chewing ability andoverall satisfaction were evaluated by patients using avisual analogue scale (VAS). At the baseline, 3., 6., 9., 12month follow ups, patient self-satisfaction evaluation of theFRC FPDs prosthesis was performed regarding prosthesisappearance, colour, chewing ability and general satisfaction.Each category was rated on a visual analogue scale (VAS) of10 mm with ‘extremely dissatisfied’ at 0 mm and ‘extremelysatisfied’ at 10 mm.Results: On average, vas scale was determined as color (7.03mm), appearance (7.05 mm), chewing (6.4 mm) and overallsatisfaction (7.5 mm). The difference between periods is notstatistically significant.Conclusion: The fiber reinforced resin-bonded bridge offersa conservative and esthetic application. Other advantagesinclude low cost compared to conventional bridges, saving oftime, ease of application and hygiene, and natural sense.
