Çevre sorunlarının çözümüne güncel olarak eğilebilmek için çevre eğitimini güncel bir bakış açısıyla geliştirmek önemli görünmektedir. Bu araştırmanın amacı, küresel çapta önemi açık olan Paris Anlaşması’nın sonuçlarını çevre eğitimi bağlamında ele almaktır. Bu çalışmada nitel araştırma desenlerinden bütüncül tek durum deseni kullanılmıştır. Paris Anlaşması tek bir durum olarak ele alınmış, bütüncül bir bakış açısıyla içerik analizine tabi tutulmuştur. Anlaşma maddeleri kodlanmış, ilgili kodlar 2018 yılı Yükseköğretim Kurulu Fen Bilgisi Öğretmenliği Lisans Programı Çevre Eğitimi dersi içeriği ile karşılaştırılarak açıklanmıştır. Yapılan analiz sonucunda Paris Anlaşması’nın sonuçları dokuz kod altında toplanmaktadır. Bu kodlar, temel ekolojik kavramlar, çevre sorunları ve özellikleri, küresel ısınma, iklim değişikliği, gıda ve tarım güvenliği, çevre eğitimi ve çevre dostu davranışlar, çevre sorunlarının çözümünde teknoloji, sürdürülebilir kalkınma, sosyal adalet ve iklim adaleti şeklindedir. Bu anlaşmanın metni incelendiğinde toplumları oluşturan bireylerin davranışlarında köklü değişikliklerin olmasının beklendiği bu araştırmanın sonuçlarından biridir. Çevre eğitimi ders içerikleri güncel çevre sorunlarına çözüm arama amacıyla yapılan uluslararası toplantıların sonuçları bağlamında güncellenmelidir. Bu sayede çevre sorunları konusunda insanlardan beklenen bilinç oluşacak, bu anlaşmalarda alınan kararlar daha hızlı bir şekilde davranış haline gelecektir. |

It seems important to develop environmental education with an up-to-date perspective in order to focus on the solution of environmental problems. The aim of this research is to discuss the results of the Paris Agreement, which is of global importance, in the context of environmental education. In this study, the holistic single case design, one of the qualitative research designs, was used. The Paris Agreement was handled as a single case and subjected to content analysis from a holistic perspective. The agreement clauses were coded and the relevant codes were explained by comparing the content of the 2018 Turkish Republic Higher Education Council Science Education Undergraduate Program Environmental Education course. As a result of the analysis, the Paris Agreement is gathered under nine codes. These codes are in the form of basic ecological concepts, environmental problems and features, global warming, climate change, food and agricultural safety, environmental education and environmentally friendly behaviors, technology in solving environmental problems, sustainable development, social justice and climate justice. When the text of this agreement is examined, it is one of the results of this research that radical changes are expected in the behaviors of individuals who make up societies. Environmental education course contents should be updated in the context of the results of international meetings held to find solutions to current environmental problems.
