dc.description
The study explores the relationship between hotel employees’ perceptions of human resources practices (HRP), employee satisfaction, and engagement, as well as the mediating role of satisfaction. It also examines whether the relationship between these variables is different for different employee groups (city-resort hotel and frontline-backline employees). The results showed that HRP positively affect employee satisfaction and job engagement and employee satisfaction mediated the relationship between these two variables. However, the relationship between HRP and employee satisfaction differs for city and resort hotel employees. Implications of these findings are discussed.
