dc.description
In Turkish hand weaving culture, zili weavings are generally among the material culture productswidely woven and used by nomadic groups. Burdur and its surroundings are one of the rareregions where Yoruk-Turkmen culture still continues. Burdur Yeşilova district is both a plateaufor nomadic groups that live in Antalya in the winters and it is a location where the Denizli Yoruksin settle. This location is one of the basic elements in the difference of weavings. Yeşilova has avery different nomadic and weaving diversity. A significant part of these consists of Zili made forrugs purposes. Within the scope of the research, field research was conducted in 36 villages ofYeşilova. In this context, weaving samples were not detected in 5 villages, but 210 weavingsamples were detected in 31 villages. A classification was made in terms of pattern and material, and 20 of them were included in this research. Material and technical analyzes of the zili weremade. In 20 examples, 16 of them are straight zili and 4 of them are crossed zili. Although pastexamples are not made today due to the change in lifestyle, they have been recorded and passedon to future generations as cultural heritage
