Hastanelerde performansın değerlendirilmesinde ve maliyetlerin izlenmesinde kapasite kullanım düzeyi hastane yöneticilerine bilgi vermektedir. Hastanelerde genel performans göstergelerinin başında kapasite kullanım oranı gelmektedir. Kapasite kullanım oranı, bir hastanenin mevcut yataklarının ne derece dolu olarak kullanıldığını ortaya koyan bir gösterge olup maliyetleri etkileyen faktörler arasında yer almaktadır. Türkiye’de, hastanelerde gözlenen ve sıklıkla ifade edilen sorunların başında hasta yataklarının optimum biçimde kullanılmaması gelmektedir. Tokat Doğum ve Çocuk Bakımevi Hastanesinin yatan hasta servislerindeki kapasite kullanım oranının maliyetlere etkisini ortaya koymak ve birim hasta günü maliyetlerindeki değişimleri saptamak, bu araştırmanın temel amaçlarını oluşturmaktadır. |

The level of capacity use informs hospital administrators about the evaluation of performance and costs in hospitals. Capacity use ratio is the most important indicator of the general performance of hospitals. It indicates the degree of fullness of the beds of hospitals and is one of the factors that affects costs. The most important problem of hospitals in Turkey, that is most frequently observed and expressed, is not using hospital beds optimally. The basic aims of this research are to determine the effects of capacity use in inpatient services on costs and to show the changes in the costs of patient-day units in the Tokat Maternity and Child Care Hospital. |
