Description:

It is widely recognized that ecology has an impact on people's physical health as well as their emotional and

psychological health. The quality of the natural environment determines our interactions with nature. Especially in

cities, the decrease in natural areas and environmental destruction can lead to an increase in people's stress levels

and a decrease in their emotional well-being. The ecopsychology approach is a discipline that examines the

interaction of human psychology with natural and artificial environmental conditions. This approach emphasizes that

people interact with their environment and that this interaction has an important role in the psychological health of

the individual The concept of bioclimatic comfort can be expressed as a component of factors that enable people to

be in a physiologically and psychologically appropriate and healthy environment. Bioclimatic comfort covers the

effects of climatic conditions of the natural environment, factors such as heat, humidity, wind on the human body and

mind. From an ecopsychology perspective, bioclimatic comfort directly affects people's physical and emotional wellbeing.

For example, the temperature, humidity and light levels of a properly designed space can make people feel

physically and psychologically comfortable and increase their productivity. It is also known that being in a natural

environment has positive effects on mental health. In this study, the concepts of Ecology, Ecopsychology and

Bioclimatic comfort were evaluated and the relationship between Ecopsychology and Bioclimatic comfort was tried

to be revealed.
