Bu çalışmada İslam toplumunda lider ve liderliği ifade eden Ulû'l-Emr kavramı üzerinde durulmaya çalışılmıştır. İlk İslam devletlerinden Emeviler döneminde Ulû'l-Emr kavramı, nasıl anlaşılmış, pratiğe nasıl yansımış ve ne şekilde karşılık bulmuştur. Peygamberlikle öne çıkan Haşimoğulları'nın halife Hz. Ali ile siyaset alanında da önderliği yakalaması, Emeviler tarafından tepkiyle karşılanmıştır. Emeviler, karizmatik önderleri Muaviye b. Ebî Süfyan etrafında kenetlenerek liderlik yarışında öne çıkan Haşimoğullarını siyaset alanından uzaklaştırmışlardır. Emevi kriterleriyle yeniden yorumlanan liderlik ve itaat olgusu, Ulû'l-Emr kavramını ilk nesil İslam toplumunun anlayışından çok uzaklara düşürmüştür. Emevi iktidarına damgasını vuran bu tarz, zamanla ötekileştirici yapısıyla Emevi toplumunun dağılmasında önemli bir faktör olmuştur. Anahtar Kelimeler: Ulû'l-Emr, İtaat, Emevi, Halife, İktidar. |

In this study, the concept of Ulu'l-Emr, which expresses the leader and leadership in the İslamic society, has been tried to be emphasized. How the concept of Ulu'l-Emr was understood, how it was reflected in practice and how it was responded in the period of the Umayyads, one of the first İslamic states. The caliph of the Sons of Hashim, who came to the for with prophethood, Hz. Ali capture of the leadership in politics, Hz. Ali was met with a reaction by the Umayyads. The Umayyads, their charismatic leader Muawiya b. They got together around Ebi Sufyan and pushed the Hashimoğulları, who came to the fore in the leadership race, away from the field of politics. The phenomenon of leadership and obedience, which was reinterpreted with Umayyad criteria, has taken the concept of Ulu'l-Amr far from the understanding of the first generation İslamic society. This style, which left its mark on the Umayyad power, became an important factor in the disintegration of the Umayyad society with its marginalizing structure over time.
