Değerler, içinde bulundukları toplumun kültürel, sosyolojik, psikolojik, tarihi ve ekonomi gibi birçok yapısıyla şekillenir. Bu çalışmanın amacı kadın ozan ve halk şairi olan Âşık Şahsenem Bacı'nın yazmış olduğu türkülerdeki değerlerin sosyal bilgiler dersi bağlamında doküman analizi ile çözümlemektir. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman analizi kullanılmıştır. Doküman analizi araştırma konusu kapsamındaki belgelerin incelenmesi ve yorumlanmasıdır. Araştırmanın veri kaynağını Âşık Şahsenem Bacı'nın yazmış olduğu Haykırış ve Söz Nereye adlı türkü kitapları oluşturmaktadır. Verilerin analizi, içerik analizi tekniği ile yapılmıştır. İçerik analizinde türküler kodlanarak temalara ayrılmış ve sosyal bilgiler öğretim programındaki değerlere göre başlıklar altında toplanmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgulara göre türkülerde en çok bahsedilen bazı değerler barış, vatanseverlik, çalışkanlık, özgürlük ve sevgi olarak bulgulanmıştır. Bu değerler ile Âşık Şahsenem Bacı, toplumun birlik beraberliğine vurgu yapmıştır. Türkülerinde nasihat verici ve yol gösterici bir tavır takınmıştır. Kültürel mirasa duyarlılık değerini verirken türkülerinde, yemeklere, halk oyunlarına ve yöresel lezzetlere yer vermiştir. Âşık Şahsenem Bacı'nın sahip olduğu ideoloji etrafındaki düşüncelerinin türkülerine yön verdiği görülmüştür. Yaşadığı dönemin siyasi olaylarından dolayı türkülerinde içerdiği konular bakımından farklılaşma yaşanmıştır. Ayrıca program haricinde yer alan hoşgörü ve Atatürk sevgisi ve Atatürkçülük değerlerine birçok türküsünde yer vererek ayrı bir önem vermiştir. Atatürk'ün yaptığı yenilikleri, Cumhuriyet'in halka sunduğu imkânları dile getirmiştir. Yapılan araştırmada Âşık Şahsenem'in türküleri sosyal bilgiler dersinde dersi destekleyici öğretim materyali olarak kullanılması önerilerinde bulunulmuştur. Adalet değeri içeren türküler 5. sınıf ve 7. sınıf etkin vatandaşlık öğrenme alanlarında kullanılabilir. Aile birliğine önem verme değeri 4. sınıf kültür ve miras öğrenme alanında kullanılabilir. Values are shaped by many structures of the society in which they are located, such as cultural, sociological, psychological, historical and economic. The aim of this study is to analyze the values in the folk songs written by Aşık Şahsenem Bacı, a female poet and folk poet, by document analysis in the context of social studies course. Document analysis, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the research. Document analysis is the examination and interpretation of documents within the scope of the research subject. The data source of the research is the folk song books Haykırış and Söz Neye, written by Aşık Şahsenem Bacı. The analysis of the data was carried out with the content analysis technique. In the content analysis, folk songs were coded and divided into themes and collected under titles according to the values in the social studies curriculum. According to the findings obtained from the research, some of the most mentioned values in folk songs were found to be peace, patriotism, hard work, freedom and love. With these values, my sister-in-Love personally emphasized the unity of society. He has adopted a giving and guiding attitude in his folk songs. While giving the value of sensitivity to cultural heritage, he included food, folk dances and local delicacies in his folk songs. It has been seen that the thoughts of Aşık Şahsenem Bacı around the ideology he has given direction to his folk songs. Due to the political events of the period in which he lived, there was a differentiation in terms of the topics contained in his folk songs. In addition, he gave a separate importance to the values of tolerance and love of Ataturk and Ataturkism, which are included outside the program, by including them in many of his folk songs. He expressed the innovations made by Atatürk and the opportunities offered by the Republic to the people. In the research conducted, suggestions were made to use Aşık Şahsenem's folk songs as teaching materials supporting the course in the social studies course. Folk songs containing the value of justice 5. class and 7. the classroom can be used in areas of effective citizenship learning. The value of giving importance to family unity 4. the classroom can be used in the field of culture and heritage learning. Folk songs containing the value of honesty 5. the classroom can be used in the fields of science, technology and community learning.
