İklim krizi insan kaynaklı sera etkisinin, yeryüzü sıcaklıklarını artırmasıyla birlikte buzulların erimesi, deniz seviyesinin yükselmesi ve afetler gibi sonuçları olan küresel risk olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. İklim kriziyle birlikte yaşanılan olumsuzluklar kentsel alanlardaki nüfus üzerinde derin ve yaygın etkiler ortaya çıkarmaktadır. Kentsel mekandaki olanak ve hizmetlerin dağılımında mevcut eşitsizlikler, iklim kriziyle derinleşmekte ve iklim adaleti tartışmalarını gündeme taşımaktadır. Bu tez kapsamında, kentsel gelir düzeylerindeki farklılıklar ile kentsel olanakların dağılımındaki eşitsizliklerin, iklim kriziyle derinleşeceği ve iklim adaletinin kentsel gündeme taşınacağı kabul edilmektedir. Çalışmanın temel varsayımı; iklim krizinin alt gelir grubu kentliler üzerinde etkilerinin daha fazla olacağı ve iklim adaletsizliğine neden olacağıdır. Bu varsayım doğrultusunda iklim krizi ile derinleşeceği öngörülen kentsel adalet ve iklim adaletinin (gelir grupları üzerinden) boyutları Aydın ili Efeler ilçesi örneğinde ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında nitel ve nicel teknikler kullanılmıştır. Aydın ili Efeler ilçesi kentsel yerleşik alanında 24 mahalle belirlenmiş olup kırılganlıklar ve düzeyleri konum, yoğunluk, olanaklar, riskler, tüketim seviyesi ve gelir düzeyi gibi göstergeler kapsamında belirlenmiştir. Yapılan kırılganlık puanlaması ve sentez analizi ile diğer mahallelere kıyasla; risklere maruz kalma oranı yüksek, olanaklara sahip olma oranı düşük seviye olan ve alt gelir grubu hanelerin yer seçimi olduğu belirlenen Ilıcabaşı Mahallesi, risklere maruz kalma oranı orta, olanaklara sahip olma oranı orta seviye olan ve orta gelir grubu hanelerin yer seçimi olduğu belirlenen Mesudiye Mahallesi, risklere maruz kalma oranı düşük, olanaklara sahip olma oranı yüksek seviye olan ve üst gelir grubu hanelerin yer seçimi olduğu belirlenen Mimar Sinan Mahallesi alt araştırma alanı olarak belirlenmiştir. Bu 3 mahalle için mekânsal analizler, görüşme ve anket tekniği kullanılarak elde edilen bulgular doğrultusunda gelir seviyesine bağlı olarak kırılganlık düzeyleri ve iklim adaletinin mekânsal boyutu değerlendirilmektedir. Araştırma sonucunda alt gelir grubu kabul edilen Ilıcabaşı mahallesinin riskler karşısında, gelir düzeylerine bağlı olarak diğer iki mahalleye kıyasla daha kırılgan olduğuna ulaşılmıştır. Araştırma genel olarak iklim değişikliği ve kentsel adalet ilişkisinde iklim adaletini tartışmaya açarken özel olarak Efeler ilçesi kentsel yerleşik alanında somut göstergeler eşliğinde değerlendirme yapmayı amaçlamaktadır. The climate crisis emerges as a global risk with consequences such as the melting of glaciers, rise in sea level and disasters, as well as the increase in the temperatures of the earth due to the human-induced greenhouse effect. The negativities experienced with the climate crisis reveal deeper and more widespread effects on the population in urban areas. In addition to this situation, the inequalities experienced in the distribution of opportunities and services in the urban structure deepen with the climate crisis and bring climate justice discussions to the agenda. Within the scope of this thesis, it is accepted that diffirences in urban income levels and inequalities in the distribution of urban opportunities will deepen with the climate crisis and climate justice will be brought to the urban agenda. The basic assumption of the study; The impact of the climate crisis on low-income urban residents will be greater and it will cause climate injustice. In line with this assumption, the dimensions of urban justice and climate justice (based on income groups), which are predicted to deepen with the climate crisis, have been tried to be revealed in the example of Aydın province Efeler district. Qalitative and quantitative techniques were used within the cope of the research. 24 neighborhoods were determined in the urban residential area of Aydın province Efeler district, and their vulnerabilities and level were determined within the scope of indicators such as location, density, opportunities, risks, comptition level and income level. Compared to other neighborhoods with the fragility scoring an synthesis anaysis; Ilıcabaşı neighborhood, which has a high risk exposure, low level of opportunities and is determined to be the location choise for low income groups households, Mesudiye neighborhood, which has a medium exposure to risks and medium level of opportunities and is determined to be the location choise for middle income group households. In Mimar Sinan neighborhood, which has low exposure to risks, high level of opportunities and determined to be the location choice of high- income households, was determined as a sub-reseach area. In line with findings obtained by using spatial analysis, interview and survey technique for these 3 neghborhoods, the level of vulnerability and the spatial dimension of climate justice are evaluated depending on the income levels. As a result of the research, it has been found that the Ilıcabaşı neighborhood, which is considered a lower income groups, is more vulnerable tho risks compared to the other two neighborhoods depending on their income levels. In the research, while discussing climate justice in the relationship between climate change and urban justice in general, it specifically aims to evaluate the urban residential area of Efeler with concrete indicators.
