Aralık değerli bulanık küme, alt ve üst üyelik fonksiyonları bulanık kümelerden oluşan bir bulanık küme tipidir. Eğer bir aralık değerli bulanık kümenin alt ve üst üyelik fonksiyonları üçgensel bulanık sayı olarak seçilirse aralık değerli üçgensel bulanık sayılar elde edilir. Bir başka ifade ile aralık değerli üçgensel bulanık sayılar aralık değerli bulanık kümelerin özel halidir. Bu tez çalışmasında aralık değerli üçgensel bulanık sayılar yardımıyla üretici ve tüketici rantları hesaplanmıştır. Üçgensel bulanık sayılardaki aritmetik işlem kolaylığından faydalanabilmek için alt üyelik ve üst üyelik fonksiyonları üçgensel bulanık sayı olarak seçilmiştir. Tezin ilk bölümünde konunun literatürdeki yeri ve hangi boşluğu nasıl dolduracağı açıklanmıştır. İkinci bölümde konu ile ilgili literatürde mevcut olan çalışmalar özetlenmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde ise çalışmada kullanılacak temel tanım, teorem ve sonuçlara yer verilmiştir. Tezin orijinal sonuçların yer aldığı dördüncü bölüm üç alt bölümden oluşmaktadır. İlk iki kısımda lineer arz ve lineer talep fonksiyonları kullanılmıştır. Lineer arz ve lineer talep fonksiyonları ürün miktarı değişkeni ve katsayılardan oluşmaktadır. Talep fonksiyonu p=a-bx, 0≤x≤(a/b) ve arz fonksiyonu ise p=e+gx, x olarak kabul edildi. Burada a>e>0, b>0, ve g>0 sabit sayılardır. p ise x miktarına göre birim fiyatı temsil etmektedir. İlk kısımda lineer arz ve talep fonksiyonlarındaki ürün miktarı (x) aralık değerli üçgensel bulanık sayılarla bulanıklaştırılarak üretici ve tüketici rantları hesaplanmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlarla sadece klasik rantlar değil aynı zamanda üçgensel bulanık sayılar kullanılarak elde edilen rantlar da karşılaştırılmıştır. İkinci kısımda lineer arz ve talep fonksiyonundaki katsayılar (a,b,e ve g) aralık değerli üçgensel bulanık sayılarla bulanıklaştırılarak üretici ve tüketici rantları hesaplanmıştır. Bu kısımda elde edilen sonuçlarla mevcut sonuçlar karşılaştırılmıştır. Üstel talep fonksiyonu p=a⋅e^{-bx}, x>0 ve üstel arz fonksiyonu p=c⋅e^{dx}, x>0 olsun. Burada a>1, b>0, ve c>1, d>0 sabit sayılardır. Son kısımda ilk olarak e tabanlı üstel arz ve üstel talep fonksiyonlarındaki ürün miktarları aralık değerli üçgensel bulanık sayılarla bulanıklaştırılarak üretici ve tüketici rantları hesaplanmıştır. Ardından benzer işlemler e tabanı yerine herhangi bir sayı tabanı için genelleştirilerek üretici ve tüketici rantları hesaplanmıştır. Bu kısımdaki sonuçlar ile klasik üstel fonksiyonlar kullanılarak elde edilen sonuçlar karşılaştırılmıştır. Orijinal kısımların tamamında ortalama tip indirgeme metodu ve işaretli uzaklık durulaştırma metodu kullanılmıştır. An interval-valued fuzzy set is a type of fuzzy set that consists of fuzzy sets with upper and lower membership functions. If the upper and lower membership functions of an interval-valued fuzzy set are chosen as triangular fuzzy numbers, interval-valued triangular fuzzy numbers are obtained. In other words, interval-valued triangular fuzzy numbers are special cases of interval-valued fuzzy sets. In this thesis, consumer surplus and producer surplus has been estimated by using the interval-valued triangular fuzzy numbers. In order to benefit from the ease of arithmetic operation in triangular fuzzy numbers, lower membership and upper membership functions are chosen as triangular fuzzy numbers. In the first section of the thesis, the place of the subject in the literature and how it will fill the gap are explained. In the second section, the studies in the literature on the subject are summarized. In the third section, the basic definitions, theorems and results that will be used in the thesis are given. In the fourth section of the thesis, which includes the original results, consists of three parts. In the first two parts, linear supply and linear demand functions are used. Linear supply and linear demand functions consist of product quantity variable and coefficients. Consider the demand function p=a-bx, 0≤x≤(a/b) and supply function p=e+gx, x, where a>e>0, b>0, and g>0 are coefficients. p represents the unit price according to the quantity x. In the first part, consumer surplus and producer surplus are calculated by fuzzifying the quantity of product (x) in the linear supply function and linear demand function with interval-valued triangular fuzzy numbers. The obtained results are compared with not only classical surpluses but also surpluses obtained using triangular fuzzy numbers. In the second part, the coefficients (a,b,e and g) in the linear supply function and linear demand function are fuzzified with interval-valued triangular fuzzy numbers, and consumer surplus and producer surplus are calculated. In this part, the results obtained are compared with the existed results. Let the exponential demand function be p=a⋅e^{-bx}, x>0 and exponential supply function be p=c⋅e^{dx}, x>0, where a>1, b>0, and c>1, d>0 are fixed. In the last part, firstly, producer and consumer surpluses are calculated by fuzzifying the product quantities in the e based exponential supply and e based exponential demand functions with interval-valued triangular fuzzy numbers. Then, similar procedures were generalized for any number base instead of e base, and producer and consumer surpluses were calculated. The results in this parts are compared with the results obtained using classical exponential functions. Average-type-reduction method and signed distance defuzzification method are used in all original parts.
