Rüzgâr türbin kuleleri yenilenebilir enerji kaynaklarından olan rüzgârdan elektrik enerjisi elde eden türbinleri taşıyan önemli destek yapılarıdır. Sanayi bacaları sanayinin gelişmesiyle yapımı artan yapılar olup zararlı gazları atmosfere iletmede önemli yere sahiptirler. Önemi büyük olan bu kuleler yüksekliği fazla ince ve narin yapılar olup dış yüklere maruz kaldıklarında büyük hasara uğrayabilmektedirler. 3 adet fay hattı geçen ülkemizde ve dünya genelinde birçok ülkede şiddeti büyük ve küçük depremler meydana gelmektedir. Depremler sırasında yapıların hasara uğraması sonucunda can ve mal kayıpları yaşanmıştır. Yapıların hasara uğramaması, can ve mal kayıplarının yaşanmaması için yapıların sismik ve rüzgâr yükleri etkisindeki davranışlarının incelenmesi ve güvenli şekilde tasarlanması gerekmektedir. Günümüzde bilgisayar programları yardımı ile yapıların davranışı incelenebilmekte ve tasarlanmaktadır. Bu tez çalışmasında, toplamda 5 adet kule yapısının dış yükler etkisinde davranışı incelenmiştir. Kule yapıları dairesel kesitte kesik koni şeklinde olup sanayi bacaları betonarme, rüzgâr türbin kule yapıları ise çelik olarak modellenmiştir. 44 m, 66 m ve 99 m yüksekliğe sahip 3 adet çelik rüzgâr türbin kule yapısı ile 66 m ve 99 m yüksekliğe sahip 2 adet betonarme sanayi bacası yapısının deprem yükü etkisindeki davranışları incelenmiş olup rüzgâr türbin kulelerinin rüzgâr yükü etkisindeki davranışı da incelenmiştir. Deprem analizleri zaman tanım alanında analiz yöntemine göre gerçekleştirilmiştir. Rüzgâr yükü ASCE 7-05 yönetmeliğine göre hesaplanmış olup açısal olarak 3 adet çelik rüzgâr türbin kulesine uygulanmıştır. Kule yapıları SAP2000 sonlu elemanlar programı ile modellenip analizleri gerçekleştirilmiş olup deprem ve rüzgâr yükü analizleri sonucunda yapılarda meydana gelen taban kesme kuvveti ve yer değiştirme değerleri elde edilmiştir. 5 ana başlıktan oluşan bu tez çalışmasının birinci bölümünde Türkiyedeki rüzgâr enerjisi, rüzgâr türbinleri ve sanayi bacaları ile ilgili bilgiler yer almaktadır. İkinci bölümünde literatürde yer alan bazı çalışmaların özetleri sunulmuştur. Tezin üçüncü bölümünde modellenen kule yapıları, deprem ve rüzgâr yükü analizlerinde kullanılan yöntemler hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Elde edilen değerler çalışmanın dördüncü bölümünde belirtilmiş olup bu değerler göz önünde bulundurularak beşinci bölümde karşılaştırmalar yapılmıştır. Wind turbine towers are important support structures that carry turbines that obtain electrical energy from the wind, which is one of the renewable energy sources. Industrial chimneys are structures whose construction has increased with the development of industry, and they have an important place in transmitting harmful gases to the atmosphere. These towers, which are of great importance, are very thin and delicate structures and can suffer great damage when exposed to external loads. Large and small earthquakes occur in our country, which has 3 fault lines, and in many countries around the world. As a result of the damage to the structures during the earthquakes, loss of life and property was experienced. It is necessary to examine the behavior of the structures under the influence of seismic and wind loads and to design them safely in order to avoid damage to the structures and to prevent loss of life and property. Today, the behavior of structures can be examined and designed with the help of computer programs. In this thesis, the behavior of 5 tower structures under external loads was investigated. The tower structures are in the form of a truncated cone in circular section, the industrial chimneys are modeled as reinforced concrete, and the wind turbine tower structures are modeled as steel. The behavior of 3 steel wind turbine tower structures with a height of 44 m, 66 m and 99 m and 2 reinforced concrete industrial chimney structures with a height of 66 m and 99 m under the effect of earthquake loads were examined, and the behavior of wind turbine towers under the influence of wind load was also examined. Earthquake analyzes were carried out according to the time history analysis method. Wind load was calculated according to ASCE 7-05 regulation and applied angularly to 3 steel wind turbine towers. Tower structures were modeled and analyzed with the SAP2000 finite element program, and base shear force and displacement values were obtained as a result of earthquake and wind load analysis. In the first part of this thesis, which consists of 5 main titles, there is information about wind energy, wind turbines and industrial chimneys in Turkey. In the second part, summaries of some studies in the literature are presented. In the third part of the thesis, information is given about the modeled tower structures, the methods used in earthquake and wind load analysis. The values obtained were stated in the fourth part of the study, and by considering these values, comparisons were made in the fifth part.
