Bu tez çalışmasında Aksu Çayı havzası içerisinde yer alan Karacaören Baraj Gölü ve çevresindeki gölü besleyen yerüstü su kaynaklarının jeolojik, hidrolojik, hidrojeolojik ve hidrojeokimyasal özellikleri incelenmiştir. Bununla birlikte yüzey sularının kimyasal özellikleri ve kalitesi belirlenmiştir. Yüzey sularının kimyasal özelliklerini oluşturan ve kalitesinin belirlenmesinde önem taşıyan litolojik birimler bölgede otokton ve allokton konumlu olarak yerleşiktir. Bölgenin jeolojik yapısını oluşturan bu birimler çalışmada hidrojeolojik özellikleri açısından, Gözenekli Geçirimli Ortam, Karstik Geçirimli Ortam, Yarı Geçirimli Ortam, Az Geçirimli Ortam, Geçirimsiz Ortam-1 ve Geçirimsiz Ortam-2 olarak sınıflandırılmıştır. Çalışmanın hidroloji bölümünde yağış ve sıcaklığa bağlı iklimsel değişikliklerin inceleme alanındaki yüzey sularını ne yönde etkilediği araştırılmıştır. Buna göre Isparta ve Antalya Devlet Meteoroloji İstasyonundan elde edilen yağış verileri ile eklenik sapma grafikleri hazırlanmıştır. Hidrolojik çevrimin en önemli bileşenlerinden olan buharlaşma miktarının belirlenmesi için ise Thornthwaite yöntemi doğrultusunda Isparta ve Antalya Devlet Meteoroloji istasyonlarında 1929-2022 yılları arasında ölçülen aylık sıcaklık ve yağış verileri kullanılarak potansiyel (Etp) ve gerçek (Etr) buharlaşma değerleri hesaplanmıştır. Standartlaştırılmış Yağış İndeksi (SYİ) yöntemi kullanılarak inceleme alanı için hidrolojik parametreler yardımıyla kuraklık analizi yapılmıştır. İklim değişikliklerine bağlı ortaya çıkan kuraklığın Karacaören 1 ve 2 Baraj Gölleri üzerindeki etkisini belirlemek amacıyla barajların faaliyete geçtiği yıldan günümüze kadar olan seviye ve hacim değerleri ile SYİ değerleri birlikte değerlendirilmiş kuraklık analizleri ile Karacaören-2 Baraj Gölü seviye ve hacim değişikliklerinde uyumluluk olduğu gözlenmiştir. İnceleme alanındaki su kaynaklarında hidrojeokimyasal izleme çalışmaları ve su kalitesi sınıflandırmaları gerçekleştirilmiştir. İnceleme alanından alınan su örneklerinin su tipleri incelendiğinde yağışlı dönemde suların büyük çoğunluğunun Ca-Mg-HCO3 ve Mg-Ca-HCO3 su tipinde olduğu görülmüştür. Aynı şekilde bölgede kurak dönem örneklemelerinde de Ca-Mg-HCO3 su tipi baskın su tipini oluşturmaktadır. Gibbs diyagramlarına göre, kurak ve yağışlı dönemlerin her ikisinde de örneklerin kimyasal özellikleri üzerinde kayaç etkinliğinin ve kayaç ayrışmasının baskın olduğu görülmektedir. Yapılan su kalite değerlendirmelerinde inceleme alanında bulunan ve gelecekte içme suyu kaynağı olması planlanan Karacaören Baraj Gölü'ne ait su örneklerinin içme ve sulama suyu olarak kullanılabilir özellikte olduğu belirlenmiştir. Çalışma alanı içerisindeki durgun su kütlesi olan Karacaören 2 Baraj Gölü içerisindeki S-2 ve S-3 örnekleme noktalarının ötrofikasyon seviyeleri Trofik Seviye İndeksi (TSİ) hesaplama denklemi formülü kullanılarak hesaplanmış ve her iki örnekleme noktasının da kurak ve yağışlı dönemde "Oligotrofik" özellik gösterdiği görülmüştür. Çalışma kapsamında inceleme alanında 293 tane mikrokirletici parametre 1 su yılı boyunca mevsimsel olarak izlenmiştir. İzlenen 293 parametreden değer içeren 32 parametre içerisinde 3 parametre hariç öncelikli maddelerin ve belirli (spesifik) kirleticilerin YSKY'de belirtilen YO-ÇKS ve MAK-ÇKS limit değerlerinin altında kaldığı görülmüştür. Bu sebeple inceleme alanı içerisinde öncelikli madde ve belirli (spesifik) kirletici baskılarının az olduğu, yüzeysel akış, yeraltısuyu beslenimi vb. proseslerin izleme döneminde kirletici taşınımından etkilenmediği ve Çevresel Kalite Standardı (ÇKS) değerlerinin aşılmadığı gözlenmiştir. Ancak evsel ve endüstriyel kirletici unsurların baskısı altında kalan istasyonlarda örnekleme noktalarının geneline oranla kirliliğin daha yoğun hissedildiği yine de limit değerlerin altında kaldığı belirlenmiştir. In this thesis study, the geological, hydrological, hydrogeological and hydrogeochemical characteristics of the Karacaören Dam Lake located in the Aksu Stream basin and the surface water resources feeding the surrounding lake were examined. In addition, the chemical properties and quality of surface waters were determined. Lithological units that form the chemical properties of surface waters and are important in determining their quality are located in the region in autochthonous and allochthonous positions. These units, which form the geological structure of the region, are classified in the study as Porous Permeable Environment, Karst Permeable Environment, Semi-Permeable Environment, Low Permeable Environment, Impermeable Environment-1 and Impermeable Environment-2, in terms of their hydrogeological properties. In the hydrology section of the study, it was investigated how climatic changes due to precipitation and temperature affected the surface waters in the study area. Accordingly, additive deviation graphs were prepared with the precipitation data obtained from Isparta and Antalya State Meteorological Stations. To determine the amount of evaporation, which is one of the most important components of the hydrological cycle, potential (Etp) and real (Etr) evaporation values were calculated using the monthly temperature and precipitation data measured at Isparta and Antalya State Meteorological Stations between 1929 and 2022 using the Thornthwaite method. Drought analysis was carried out for the study area with the help of hydrological parameters using the Standardized Precipitation Index (SPI) method. In order to determine the effect of drought resulting from climate changes on the Karacaören 1 and 2 Dam Lakes, the level and volume values and SPI values from the year the dams were put into operation until today were evaluated together and it was observed that there was a compatibility in the drought analyzes and the level and volume changes of the Karacaören-2 Dam Lake. Hydrogeochemical, monitoring studies and water quality classifications were carried out in the water resources in the study area. When the water types of the water samples taken from the study area were examined, it was seen that the majority of the water during the rainy period was of Ca-Mg-HCO3 and Mg-Ca-HCO3 water types. Likewise, Ca-Mg-HCO3 water type is the dominant water type in dry season sampling in the region. According to the Gibbs diagrams, it is seen that rock activity and rock weathering are dominant on the chemical properties of the samples in both dry and rainy periods. In the water quality assessments, it was determined that the water samples of Karacaören Dam Lake, which is located in the study area and is planned to be a source of drinking water in the future, can be used as drinking and irrigation water. The eutrophication levels of the S-2 and S-3 sampling points in the Karacaören 2 Dam Lake, which is the stagnant water body in the study area, were calculated using the Trophic Level Index (TSI) calculation equation formula and it was observed that both sampling points showed "Oligotrophic" characteristics in the dry and rainy periods. Within the scope of the study, 293 micropollutant parameters were monitored seasonally in the study area for 1 water year. It was observed that priority substances and certain (specific) pollutants were below the YO-ÇKS and MAK-ÇKS limit values specified in YSKY, except for 3 parameters among 32 parameters containing values from 293 monitored parameters. For this reason, there are areas within the study area where priority substances and certain (specific) pollutant pressures are low, surface flow, groundwater recharge, etc. It was observed that the processes were not affected by pollutant transport during the monitoring period and Environmental Quality Standard (ESS) values were not exceeded. However, it was determined that the pollution was felt more intensely in the stations that were under the pressure of domestic and industrial pollutants compared to the general sampling points, but it remained below the limit values.
