Hisse senedi fiyatları ve işlem hacimleri aynı piyasa ve risk grubundan etkilenen finansal değişkenlerdir. Hisse senetleri sermaye piyasalarının ve borsaların temel yatırım araçlarındandır. Bu çalışmada BIST'e kote olan bankaların hisse senedi fiyatı ve işlem hacminin mikroekonomik ve makroekonomik değişkenlerden etkilenme düzeyi panel veri analizi ile araştırılmıştır. 2010/Ç1-2020/Ç4 dönemlerine ait sektörde faaliyette bulunan 12 banka verileri üzerinden analiz yapılmıştır. Kullanılan bağımlı değişkenler, bankaların hisse senedi fiyatı ve hisse senedi işlem hacmidir. Bağımsız mikroekonomik değişken olarak; Sermaye Yeterlilik, Aktif Kalitesi, Yönetim Yeterliliği, Kazanç- Kârlılık, Likidite, Piyasa Riskine Duyarlılık, Finansal Kaldıraç ve Hisse Başına Kâr oranlarının olduğu 22 rasyo kullanılmıştır. Bağımsız makroekonomik değişkenler, 3 grup altında incelenmiştir. Mikroekonomik ve makroekonomik değişkenlerin hisse senedi fiyatı ve işlem hacmi üzerinde anlamlı ve güçlü etkiye sahip oldukları tespit edilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonucunda; mikroekonomik değişkenlerden Sermaye Yeterlilik, Aktif Kalitesi, Kazanç- Karlılık, Likidite, Piyasa Riskine Duyarlılık oranları özelinde hisse senedi fiyatı ve işlem hacminde etkili olan ve anlamlı bulunan ortak değişkenlerdir. Hisse senedi fiyatının, Hisse Başına Kâr oranlarından etkilenme düzeyi anlamlı bulunmuştur. Finansal Kaldıraç değişkeninin, hisse senedi işlem hacmine etkisi anlamlı çıkmıştır. Hisse senedi fiyatını, makroekonomik değişkenlerden Altın-ons, Bakır-ons, Brent, Dolar Endeksi, Euro Endeksi, Geçinme Endeksi, Üretici Fiyat Endeksi, Reel Kesim Güven Endeksi, M2 Para Arzı, İşsizlik Oranı ve Kısa Vadeli Dış Borçlar'ın negatif yönde ve anlamlı, Platin-ons, Tüketici Güven Endeksi, BIST Banka Endeksi, Gayri Safi Yurt İçi Hasıla ve İhracat Oranı'nın pozitif yönde ve anlamlı etkilediği görülmüştür. Hisse senedi işlem hacmine, makroekonomik değişkenlerden Bakır-ons, Euro-TL, Tüketici Güven Endeksi, İthalat Oranı ve Kısa Vadeli Dış Borçlar'ın negatif yönde anlamlı etkileri tespit edilmiştir. Altın-ons, Dolar-TL, Euro Endeksi, Finansal Hizmetler Güven Endeksi, Üretici Fiyat Endeksi, Reel Kesim Güven Endeksi, Volatilite Endeksi, Merkez Bankası Faiz Oranı, M2 Para Arzı, Gayri Safi Yurt İçi Hasıla ve İhracat Oranı'nın da pozitif yönde ve anlamlı etkilediği bulunmuştur. Stock prices and trading volumes are financial variables that are affected by the same market and risk group. Stocks are one of the main investment tools of capital markets and stock markets. In this study, the effect of microeconomic and macroeconomic variables on the stock price and trading volume of banks quoted in BIST was investigated by panel data analysis. Analysis was made on the data of 12 banks operating in the sector for the 2010/Q1-2020/Q4 periods. The dependent variables used are the stock price and stock trading volume of the banks. As an independent microeconomic variable; 22 ratios including Capital Adequacy, Asset Quality, Management Adequacy, Earnings-Profitability, Liquidity, Market Risk Sensitivity, Financial Leverage and Earnings Per Share were used. Independent macroeconomic variables were examined under 3 groups. It has been determined that microeconomic and macroeconomic variables have a significant and strong effect on stock price and trading volume. As a result of the study; Among microeconomic variables, Capital Adequacy, Asset Quality, Earnings-Profitability, Liquidity, Market Risk Sensitivity are common variables that are effective and significant in stock price and trading volume. The level of being affected by the earnings per share ratio of the stock price was found to be significant. The effect of Financial Leverage variable on stock trading volume was significant. Among the macroeconomic variables, Gold-ounce, Copper-ounce, Brent, Dollar Index, Euro Index, Livelihood Index, Producer Price Index, Real Sector Confidence Index, M2 Money Supply, Unemployment Rate and Short-Term External Debt have a negative and significant effect on the stock price, while Platinum-ounce, Consumer Confidence Index, BIST Bank Index, Gross Domestic Product and Export Rate have a positive and significant effect. Among the macroeconomic variables, Copper-ounce, Euro-TL, Consumer Confidence Index, Import Rate and Short-Term External Debt have significant negative effects on stock trading volume. Gold-ounce, Dollar-TL, Euro Index, Financial Services Confidence Index, Producer Price Index, Real Sector Confidence Index, Volatility Index, Central Bank Interest Rate, M2 Money Supply, Gross Domestic Product and Export Rate were also found to have a positive and significant effect.
