Takı kavramı, insanlık tarihi kadar eski bir kavramdır. Başlangıçta çevresini kapsayan unsurları anlamak ve koşullar ile başa çıkmaya çalışan insanın, doğal malzemeler kullanarak yaptığı takılar ile temelde tılsım ve korunma gibi amaçlarla bedenini korumaya çalışmış olduğu düşünülmektedir. İnsanlık gelişip malzeme çeşitliliği arttıkça, kullanım amacı ve üretim yöntemleri gelişim göstermiştir. Artan malzeme çeşitliliği ile uygulanan takılar, tasarım sürecini de beraberinde getirmiştir. Tasarım unsurları, her topluluk için kendilerine özgü konuları yansıtan öğelerden, günlük konulardan veya genel kavramlardan oluşmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Türk kültürünün önemli bir unsuru olan Türk Mitolojisindeki hayvanları inceleyerek bazı hayvanları tasarım konusu olarak ele almaktır. Çalışmada, Türk Mitolojisindeki hayvanlar ve kuyumculuk teknikleri ile ilgili, tezler, kitaplar ve makaleler taranarak araştırılmıştır. Geleneksel Türk Sanatlarında en çok rastlanan ve Türk mitolojisinde de önemli yer tutan hayvan motifleri seçilerek araştırmaya devam edilmiştir. Yapılan araştırmalar sonucunda, seçilen bazı mitolojik hayvanlar tasarlanarak ürüne dönüştürülmüştür. Anahtar Kelimeler : Türk Mitolojisi, Hayvansal Motifler, Kuyumcu, Kuyumculuk, Tasarım. |

The concept of jewelry is as old as human history. It is thought that the human beings, who initially tried to understand the elements surrounding their environment and to cope with the relevant conditions, sought to protect their body through the jewellery they made using natural materials basically for the purposes of charm and protection. As the humanity has developed and material diversity has increased, intended use and production methods of the jewellery have thrived as well. With the increasing variety of materials, the jewelry making has also brought along the design process. Design elements consist of those elements ranging from daily themes or general concepts that reflect unique themes peculiar to each community. The aim of this paper is to examine the animals in Turkish Mythology which is an important element of Turkish culture and to handle some animals as design subjects. Theses, books, and articles on animals and jewelry techniques in Turkish Mythology were searched and examined within the scope of the study. Then animal motifs, which are the most common in traditional Turkish arts and have an important place in Turkish mythology, have been selected and researched.
