Sanat konuları arasında geniş bir yer kaplayan "özne" kavramı, kimlik söylemi ile ele alınmamış olmasının eksikliği sebebiyle; hem "özne"nin hem de "kimlik"in resimsel düzlemde çözümlenmeye çalışıldığı bu tez metni, sanatsal bağlamda felsefe, sosyoloji ve estetik kuramsal okumalar kolajıdır. Evrenselliğin geçirgenliği bağlamında, sanatsal üretimlerde varlık tabakaları arasında kültür; yapıtların kökenini oluşturmaktadır. Kültürel farklılık çözümlemeleri ile "özne" içinde; "kimlik" temsiliyetleri barındırmaktadır. Çalışmanın amacı güncel olarak toplumsal koşullar altında yaşanan sanat üretimlerinde; özne ve kimlik söylemlerindeki tartışmaları bir araya getirmektir. Kimliğin bir bunalımdan çok bir söylem ve bir yöntem oluşu; dönemsel bazda sanat söylemlerine bir bakış sunmaktadır. Birinci bölümde "özne"; modernist ve postmodernist süreçte kimlik ile ilişkilendirilerek kavramsal çerçevesi belirlenmektedir. İkinci bölümde, "ben" inşasında "özne"nin kimlik temsiliyetleri, yirminci yüzyıl sanat oluşumları üzerinden irdelenip; sonrasında yapısalcı ve postyapısalcı eleştiride Çağdaş Sanat oluşumları ile "özne" nin gelmiş olduğu konum olan "kimlik" üzerinden temsiliyetleri aktarılmaktadır. Son olarak üçüncü bölümde ise; düşünürlerin söylemleri temelinde öznel bir bakış ile "özne-kimlik" metinleri üzerinden oluşturulan imgeler, plastik çözümlemeler ile resimsel bir dile dönüştürülmüştür. Genel bir ifade ile yapılan bu araştırma, sanatın "nelik" ve "kimlik" karşıtlığının bir saptamasını içermektedir. The concept of subject occupying a wide area among the subjects of art, due to the lack of not being addressed by identity discourse; this thesis, where both the subject and the identity are tried to be analyzed in the pictorial space, is a colage of philiosophical, sociological and aesthetic theoretical readings in the artistic context. In the context of the permeability of universality, culture between the layers of existence in artistic productions; origin of the Works. Cultural differences contain identity respresantations within the subject through analysis. The aim of this study is to bring together the debates in the discourse of subject and identity in the art production under current social conditions. Identity is a discourse and method rather than a crisis; presents an overweiw of artdiscourses on a periodic basis. In the first part the subject; in the modernist and potmodernist process, the conceptual frame work is determined by associating it with identity. In the second part, "I" represent the "Subject"s identity representations through twentieth centruy art formations; afterwards, in structuralist and poststructuralist criticism, contemporary art formations and their representations thrpugh identity are conveyed. Finallay, in the third part; based on the discourses of the thinkers, the images created with the subjective point of view and "Subject – Identity" texts are transformed into a pictorial language with plastic analyzes. This research, which is done with general expression, includes an analysis of art in the dialectics of "Whatness" and "Identity".
