Halı dokunmaya başlandığı zamandan bu yana Türk tarihinde çok önemli bir yere sahip olmuştur. Bulunduğu zamanın sosyal ve kültürel özelliklerini yansıtması yanı sıra el dokumacılığının en güzel örneklerini bu sanat dalında görmekteyiz. "Türk halısı"da taşıdığı izler sebebiyle dünya tarihinde çok önemli bir yer tutar. Halılar incelendiğinde motif ve renklerin bölgesel olarak farklılıklar gösterdiğini görmekteyiz. Bunun nedenleri arasında o yörenin coğrafi konumu, gelenekleri ve hammadde temini ilk sıralarda yer alır. Kültürel mirasımız olan halı motif diliyle bize çok şey anlatmaktadır. Tez çalışma konusu olarak Isparta Prof. Dr. Turan Yazgan Etnografya Halı ve Kilim Müzesi'ndeki Kars halıları incelenmiştir. Bu halılar çoğunlukla geometrik, bitki ve hayvan motifleri ağırlıktadır. Zaman zaman dokuyucunun kendi duygularıyla harmanladığı motifleri de görmekteyiz. Bu halılar motif ve kompozisyon yönünden incelenmiştir Anahtar Kelimeler : Halı, Motif, Kars Isparta Turan Yazgan Etnografya Halı ve Kilim Müzesi. |

''Carpet" has had a very important place in Turkish history since the beginning of producing.Reflect their social and cultural characteristics of the time we see the most beautiful examples of hand weaving in this branch of this art."Turkish Carpet" also has an important part in world history because of the trace it carries.When the carpets are researched,we see that the motifs and colors can be differences.Among the reasons for this are the traditions of the geographical location of that region and the supply of raw materials.Carpet which is our cultural heritage tells us a lot of thing with the language of motifs. As a thesis of study Kars carpets were examined where has located Isparta Prof.Dr.Turan Yazgan Etnography Carpet and Rug museum.These carpets are mostly geometric,plant and animal motifs.From time to time we also see the motifs that the weaver blends with her own feelings.These carpets have been examined in terms of motifs and composition.
