Tarih öncesi çağlardan beri sanatın en önemli konusu insan ve insan figürleri olmuştur. İnsan figürü; yaşam biçimleri ve kültürel etkileşimden dolayı her toplumda farklılıklar göstermiştir. Bunu tabii sonucu olarak bu farklılıklar toplumların sanat anlayışına yansımıştır. 18. yüzyıl Kütahya çini sanatında görülen insan figürleri ise dönemin özgün sanat biçimini yansıtmıştır. Eserlerde kadın figürü öne çıkmakla birlikte yer yer erkek figürleri işlenmiştir. Genellikle çini tabaklar üzerine resmedilmiş olan insan figürleri günlük kullanım eşyaları (matara, askı süsü, şişe, sürahi gibi) üzerine de resmedilmiştir. Tabakların boyutlarının birbirinden farklı olması ve farklı dekor biçimlerinin kullanılması bu eserlerin farklı usta ve atölyelerden çıktığını göstermektedir. Bu tezde 18. yüzyıl Kütahya çini sanatında görülen figürler, üç boyutlu olarak uygulanmış ve dönemden farklı olarak seramik çamurunda hayat bulmuştur. Döneme ait bitki motifleri eserler üzerine dekorlanmış ve çini boyalarıyla boyanmıştır. Eserler ilk aşama olan bisküvi pişirimi yapılmış daha sonra şeffaf sır kullanılarak sır pişirimi yapılmıştır. 18. yüzyıl Kütahya çini sanatında kullanılan motif ve figürlerin seramik sanatına farklı teknikler kullanılarak, üç boyutlu uygulanmıştır. Since prehistoric times, the most important subject of art has been human and human figures. The human figure showed differences in every society due to life styles and cultural interactions. As a result, these differences are reflected into societies' understanding of art. The human figures seen in the 18th-century Kütahya tile art reflects the original art form of the period. Although the female figure stands out in these works, men figures are depicted partly. Human figures, usually depicted on the tile plates, are also depicted on items (such as flasks, hangers, bottles, jugs) for daily use. The differing size of the plates and the use of different decorative styles show that these works come from different masters and workshops. In this thesis, the figures seen in 18th-century Kütahya tile art were applied in three dimensions and found life as different from the period in the ceramic mud. The plant motifs of the period were decorated on the works and painted with tile paints. The first stage of the works was biscuit firing and then the glaze was fired using a transparent glaze. The motifs and figures used in the 18th-century Kütahya tile art were applied in three dimensions by using different techniques on ceramic art.
