İnsanın, kendi hayatını kolaylaştırmak, yaşamı adına fayda sağlamak için geliştirdiği teknolojiler ve endüstriyel ortam doğanın düzenini ve dengesini bozmaktadır. Sanatçı ise bu süreçte doğayı, evrimsel süreci ve bunların birbiriyle olan ilişkilerini gözlemleyerek, var olması gereken yeri belirlemeye çalışmaktadır. Özellikle Endüstri Devrimi ile değişen doğa algısının sanatçı imgelemindeki dönüşümünün doğru orantıda geliştiği ve değiştiği açıkça gözlemlenir. Gerek doğanın tahribatı gerekse doğal kaynakların israfına karşı sanatçının gösterdiği tepkiler, atık nesnelere sanatsal değer vermeye kadar uzanır. Bu anlamdaki "bakış" ı merkeze alan anlayışla birlikte doğanın uğradığı tahribata dikkat çeken, doğanın kendi içinde var olan düzensizliğine, ileri dönüşüm ve entropi gibi kavramlar üzerinden cevap arayan pek çok sanatsal yaklaşım ortaya çıkar. Söz konusu bu kapsamla ilgili olarak çalışmada, sanatta ekolojik sorunlara yeni biçimsel anlayışlarla tepki oluşturan ve bunun için hazır nesne, buluntu nesne ve atık nesneleri sanatsal bir yapıya dönüştüren sanat hareketleri ve akımlar incelenmiştir. Değişen doğa algısı çerçevesinde ele alınan sanat hareketleri üzerine yoğunlaşan bu çalışmada günümüz Postmodern sanat anlayışının getirdiği kavramlarla şekillenen örneklere de yer verilmiştir. Aynı zamanda abartılı üretim ve tüketim sonucu ortaya çıkan atıkların, yeniden dolaşıma sokularak bir sanat nesnesine dönüştürülmesine yönelik örnekler incelenmiştir. Bu bağlamda israf, gereksiz tüketim, çevrenin ve doğal yapının tahribatına dikkat çeken araştırmalar gerçekleştirilerek kişisel sanat üretimlerinin oluşum sürecine ilişkin düşünsel arka plan açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Technologies and industrial environment developed by man to facilitate and provide some benefits in his own life have been disrupting the order and balance of nature. As for the artist in this process, he/she tries to determine the place where he should exist by observing the nature, the evolutionary time course and their relations with each other. It is clearly observed that nature perception changing with Industrial Revolution in particular has developed and changed directly proportionate to the artist's image transformation. The reactions of the artist both to the destruction of nature and the waste of natural resources extend to the artistic value of the waste objects. In company with the understanding that puts the 'view' in the center in this sense, many artistic movements that respond and draw attention to the destruction of nature and irregularities of nature existing in itself over the concepts such as upcycling and entropy emerge. Within the scope of the study in question, the artistic movements and trends reacting to these sort of ecological problems in art through new formal thoughts and using ready-made objects, found and waste objects in order to transform them into an artistic body have been considered for examination. In the study centering upon the artistic movements in the framework of changing nature perception, the samples related to the transformation of the waste generated as a result of production and consumption into an art object by recirculating have been examined. In this context; along with a study that draws attention to the concepts such as extravagancy, redundant consumption etc. and destruction of environment and natural resources, an intellectual background related to the formational process of solo artistic productions realized in this context has been explained.
