Bu çalışmada Pisidia Bölgesi sınırları içerisinde yer alan Ariassos kentinin Hellenistik ve Roma İmparatorluk Dönemi'nde darp etmiş olduğu sikkelerin bir kataloğu oluşturulmuştur. Kataloğa yurt içi ve yurt dışındaki müzeler, özel koleksiyonlar, online satış web-siteleri ve yayımlanmış kataloglardaki tüm sikkeler dahil edilmiştir. Kentin Hellenistik ve Roma İmparatorluk Dönemi sikke basım hacmi hesaplanarak antik dönem ekonomisindeki yeri değerlendirilmiştir. Ayrıca Ariassos sikkeleri üzerinde betimlenen tipler de ele alınarak kentin inanç sistemi ve sosyal hayatı üzerinde durulmuştur. Elde edilen veriler bölge ve kent tarihi çerçevesinde değerlendirilmiştir. Anahtar Kelimeler : Pisidia, Ariassos, Hellenistik ve Roma İmparatorluk sikkeleri. |

In this study, a corpus catalogue of coins minted by the city of Ariassos in Pisidia during the Hellenistic and Roman Imperial Periods was created. The catalogue includes all coins in domestic and foreign museums, private collections, online sales web-sites and published catalogues. The Hellenistic and Roman Provincial coin minting volume of the city was calculated and its place in the ancient economy was evaluated. In addition to this study, the types depicted on the coins of Ariassos were also discussed and the pantheon and social life of the city were emphasised. The data obtained were evaluated within the framework of the history of the region and the city. Keywords : Pisidia, Ariassos, Hellenistic and Roman Empire coins. |
